    First time here as looking for new spots in the city for a business lunch, and we were not disappointed. Absolutely lovely food, great views (corner window table) and great service. We will be back!

    Lovely hotel/restaurant Staff attentive and top drinks up regularly Food was good but not much variety Desserts lovely Nice experience but there are other brunches where you will receive more variety of food and drinks for the price

    We were really excited about our visit to Straits kitchen for Sunday roast. Staff were pleasant especially our waiter. The food was overall good but the main issue we had was that we were expecting some starters as advertised and there were none. Instead you could build your own laksa which was very tasty with some nice ingredients available. The choice of 4 roasts was good but the meats had been sat a long while and were cold. The chicken was very dry! Some nice patisserie desserts and a nice bottle of Prosecco included. I think we expected more from this high end Singapore based hotel than it delivered on the day! Shame!!!

    Throughly enjoyed a “Year of the Dragon” afternoon tea. Lovely service and delicious treats. Comfortable seating and a view of a lovely (busy) city center. Highly recommend!

    Ordered two glasses of champagne, which has clearly been open a while and was flat and not worth £25 a glass. The cocktails we ordered were good though. Food was definitely a disappointment. We had the Valentine's Day set menu. Amuse bouche was ok but nothing special. The sashim first course dish was not very tender and a bit dry. It came with a citrus dressing which consisted of very roughly chopped raw carrots and veg. The odd texture was made even worse by large rubbery mushrooms. The second wagu beef course was again just ok, but came with a very strange green sauce. It will felt like it needed better seasoning. The highlight of the menu had to be dessert. Overall the bill came to £400 for two, which was very overpriced for what was not even gourmet pub quality. Staff were friendly and reasonably attentive but did forget to offer the coffee, which was supposed to be included. Would not go back.

    Staff seemed very new,anxious and unsure. Seated at a table facing the bar area but obstructed by a wall, so there was no ambience to speak of. All we saw were waiters passing. The food was very tasty but not quite the calibre I expected. The menu was decent value but I’d have been extremely disappointed had we paid a la carte prices. Asked us to leave our table before dessert had been served on our 3 course menu. Refused to accept open table reward cheque despite their not being on the exceptions list. Will absolutely not return.

    Well located, good food and portion size. Ambience was on point for a great date. Service was amazing. Special mention to Milana and Danilo.
