A new resident of the iconic Seven Dials, Story Cellar brings you Parisienne-inspired dining and unique wines, all with a distinct London identity.

With an open-plan layout, our intimate yet lively space blends the charm of classic counter dining with a contemporary London twist. Overlooking the vibrant Neal’s Yard, Story Cellar invites you to indulge in exceptional food and drink.

Curated by Two Michelin Star Chef Tom Sellers, our menu features signature rotisserie chicken, cooked over an open grill, alongside the finest steak and reimagined classics. An extensive selection of rare and exceptional wines is carefully housed in our on-site wine cellar.

Absolutely spectacular ! Food was remarkable, rare to taste mushrooms in so many different ways. Will come back. Worth going. The service was fantastic, feeling like being in a Michelin.

Quality execution of what seem to be simple dishes, but are seriously refined. Sitting at the bar was like watching a high trained choreographed dance company.

What a great meal. What a great experience sitting at the bar watching the chef work! I’ll go back. Soufflé starter was amazing.

Story Cellar occupies a quaint space in Covent Garden, conveniently situated near Seven Dials. The restaurant's relaxed setting seems perfect for casual dining with friends. While the bar offers a serviceable selection of drinks, the menu stops short of any adventurous offerings. The kitchen demonstrates its strengths in fresh produce: both the beet salad and the side salad accompanying the rotisserie chicken showcased excellent preparation and flavors. The main courses brought mixed results. The steak, served as an English cut filet, was nicely prepared. The rotisserie chicken, while moist and enhanced by thoughtful sauces, arrived merely warm rather than hot, with skin that had lost its crispness. Their novel snail bolognese on toast, while interesting in concept, lacked the depth of flavor we had anticipated. The french fries proved disappointing, lacking both flavor and the essential crunch that elevates this standard side dish. Story Cellar shows promise in certain areas but falls short of exceptional dining. While we might return for salads and casual meals, the restaurant has not yet earned a place among our regular destinations.

Hi the meal was delicious , bit disappointed with the desert which was fantastic last time I had it . Still great though

Excellent NYE menu - the food was very very good. However just felt that given that it was NYE, could’ve been a bit more generous with the wine pairing. Restaurant vibe was also a bit more on the casual side.

I’d been looking forward to going here. It seemed to have the makings of a wonderful restaurant. But it was bitterly disappointing on all counts. Wouldn’t recommend.
