The Mussels that were served to us , were not fresh and they were sandy The staff managed it appropriately However, After we explained and sent back They still kept them as an option and served mussels to other customers Portion sizes were good Food just tasted mediocre and as of it was in the refrigerator too long

Stone Fire is a hidden gem as far as we are concerned. In a building that has been a jinxed location for at least 3 former restaurants, the jinx has definitely been broken by this wonderful eatery. The management as well as the staff are welcoming and thoughtful. The pastas are home-made and delicious. The pizzas are top notch. The menu has something for everyone. And surprisingly (especially for Westchester County) the prices are moderate.

Looking for a new “go to” place stone fire failed to make the cut. Service was unprofessional, and the value just wasn’t there. We asked to have an $18 appetizer of scallops made into a dinner portion. They added one scallop and made the order $36. The food was good, that’s why this was our second trip in three weeks. But they just don’t have the depth to make it an enjoyable evening. Oh well. Our hunt for our next hang out continues.
