Stofa is built on a passion for food, traditional and modern cooking methods, and creativity. We look to the ingredients to bridge the gap between time-honoured techniques and modern progression, producing a comfortable, inventive, and evocative dining experience.

Stofa's name represents a place of warmth and comfort where people can gather to eat, drink and be with friends. We proudly support local and sustainable products, and participate in the farm and food community, all while providing guests with vibrant and engaging food presented in an approachable yet innovative dining setting.

Located in the vibrant Wellington West area of Ottawa, Stofa offers a 3 or 5 course table d'hote menu which changes regularly. We offer patio dining (weather dependent) and have a private room available for large groups or professional meetings. Stofa Social Hour available Thurs-Sat from 5-6PM offers a special menu focusing on shareable platters and drink specials, offered alongside our regular menu.

With the kids at overnight camp, my husband and I found ourselves with free evenings and an opportunity to try a couple of new places. We went to Stofa for Social Hour and sat at the bar. The ambiance was lovely and the food was great. The bar tender was a bit stand-offish, not overly friendly which was a bit of a downer, but overall it was very nice.

Everything was great. The only thing I didn't like is a long wait between the courses. If you have a lot of free time that place is for you, if not then choose the three course menu.

Exceptionally good food, comfortable setting and friendly service made this birthday celebration one to remember. The tempura crab appetizer was a real winner with all three of us who ordered it, and all of the main dishes were delicious and served with tasty and imaginative sides. Highly recommend Stofa for your special night out.

Deliciously crafted cocktails with creatively prepared set menu dishes. It was some of the tastiest food we’ve eaten in Ottawa. Highly recommend for date night as well as a casual rendezvous with friends that are foodies.
