Gatsby meets modern deco is the vibe from the minute you walk in! Cocktails on the lounge couches, then seated in rounder chairs at your table, greeted by black suited servers who pull off the “dining in style” experience. Dinner was timed perfectly and the meal was everything one would want from a special night out! They are doing it right at Stock Hill, do yourself a favor and come enjoy this tucked away gem in Kansas City

Service was outstanding, and just as superior as the entrees! Choosing Stock Hill for restaurant week this year was hands down the best decision yet. This spot is a new favorite in KC for high-end dining. Tyler (our server) was excellent and made our experience one to remember.

Not worth the $. The food was decent. My steak was not cooked to what I ordered. Someone walked by and asked if I wanted it boxed, but didn't occur to them to ask if someone was wrong. Very odd for a "steakhouse". The waiter never asked how anything was, didn't offer more drinks when ours were empty. Service really played a role in the disappointment. This coming from service industry people.

The ambience was amazing, it felt like New York or San Francisco! The service was excellent, all staff were very intuitive. We both had the filet which would have been wonderful if it had not had an overly salty au jus. We were there for restaurant week and the server advised us that the sauce was something the chef did especially for restaurant week and would not be on a normal steak order. Our meal would have been absolutely perfect if the chef had just not tried so hard! The filet could have stood on its own merits. It was cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts side dish is fantastic. This is a definite “special occasion” place, pricy but well worth it.

we went for Restaurant week, loved the restaurant, our server was excellent, our only critique was that the winter bisque was bland, every other aspect was great!
