I took my wife for lunch. It was lovely and quiet. Staff were very friendly and professional. The starters were very nice and the steaks were perfect. I went for the tomahawk and it was very nice. The bottle of Malbec was very good too.We ordered far too many sides but know for next time . The bill was what I expected and was worth the money.

The food was poor quality tasted very bad no flavor, very rude staff in particular Our waiter was very agitated, jumpy and I’m quite sure he was under the influence of something. When it came to receive my birthday cake, there was no candle no sparkler when I asked about this. I was truly told that I’m not the only one here celebrating a birthday and there are no more sparklers explain that I was very upset with the service and the waiter and that I wouldn’t be coming back here again. Needless to say some money was taken off the bill however that didn’t make up for the bad experience and ruining my birthday. the salad was salty. The lamb was flavorless. The beef was burnt, and the salmon looked as if it came from Iceland.

Service started out great, but there was a long wait for our main dish plates to be cleared and for our dessert to arrive.

Food was absolutely lovely. Everything we ordered was top quality and delicious. Cocktails were also lovely! No complaints at all, we often visit and this time was no different to the others, we will be back.

I had a £50 so thought I would use it even though I'm not a big meat eater. Crispy Calamari £21-large portion enough for 2 as a starter. Not the freshest I've ever had, batter was a bit soggy, but ok. Blue Iceberg lettuce £19. Not great. Overly drenched in sauce. Classic mac & cheese £10. Macaroni over cooked and soggy, didn't taste of much. Rosemary french fries £10. Absolutely no rosemary to be seen, zero taste, just of salt. Food - very underwhelmed. Maybe the steak is amazing but I can't comment, it's just flat beef. Service good, attentive. Vibe- it was 6pm on a wednesday so not very busy, mostly pre theatre folk. Reception friendly.
