Restaurant was overbooked. Took 20 min to be seated with reservations. They had too many tables that the waiters couldn’t even walk between them. Our table was wobbling as was the table next to us. Really disappointing environment for the cost. Our appetizer felt like it was warmed up in the microwave. The waitress was so overwhelmed she didn’t even offer desert to us.

Was here on a business trip and wanted to try something new. It was okay. I would say for your money it was okay, nothing special. Service was okay, food was okay, atmosphere was loud and way too cramped. Probably would. Not Eat here again. Have had better food for less in SLC.

Steak was done well when we asked for it to be medium rare. Tasted like beef jerky. Mashed potatoes were delicious though. That was about it. Steak was way dry!

One hour and a half waiting for food. Food never show up. I just decided to leave the place

Our first experience at STK was way better than this one. They overbooked for Valentine’s Day, so we waited 40 minutes past our reservation and then everyone was packed in like sardines. It was so hard to hear and waiters were constantly bumping into everyone because there wasn’t any room. Our waitress was really nice and she did great, but it was just chaotic and a mess all around. The food was good, but not as good as the first time. We were also seated in this weird upstairs room with 50 other people all at these really crappy tiny tables that barely fit anything. It was so poorly managed.

It was my first time coming and I had a horrible experience. My reservation was at 9 and I didn’t get in till 10:13 because how backed up they were. When I got there the lady kept telling me till be 20 minutes but it took and hour! and the food took another hour. My steak was cold. The server was very nice and very apologetic. It was honestly just a horrible experience and it ruined our valentines.

Our reservation was at 845 pm and we didn’t sit down until 10pm. The restaurant needs to reassess the seating and dining situation and consider putting time limits on table dining otherwise they won’t be successful, and will have turnover in wait staff.

My boyfriend and I have given STK Salt Lake City THREE chances, and every single time has been a complete disaster. I’m not even going to get into the valet service who parallel parked my urus on the street then made me back it out while it was raining? The first time was on New Year’s Eve with friends, and let me tell you, our New Year’s was ruined. We asked for champagne, they never brought it, and to make things worse, we were overcharged and charged for items we didn’t even order! The service was slow, the food was disgusting, and the entire experience was an embarrassment. Thinking it was just a fluke, we decided to give it another try for Valentine’s Day. Big mistake. The service was still ridiculously slow, and the food was just as bad as before. We couldn’t even wait it out and ended up leaving early because it was so bad.
