STK was awesome. My wife and I went there for our 15 year wedding anniversary, and it was great. The food was excellent. Brae, our waiter, was extremely helpful in advising us on what we might like. It was our first time at STK, and we couldn't have picked a better place to spend our 15 year mark. It was fine dining, but you get all the value you paid for.

Friendly and professional staff! Dan was a perfect server. The food was good and coursed well. The chef was accommodating and the atmosphere was comfortable.

The the staff at STK is extremely good and know how to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The food is well above average, but not quite as good as it should be for the prices charged. Not an extensive, but a very nice wine list

Food and ambience was wonderful and made our special evening of celebration a great experience. Caleb our server did an amazing job explaining all our food and drink selection and made our experience even more enjoyable and magical. Thank you Caleb for your great service!

We came for dinner before a sporting event at the Delta Center so a lot of diners came in around the same time we did. The wait time for our food and service was totally acceptable despite the sudden busy-ness. Overall it was a neutral experience for a few reasons: 1) our server mixed up our order with another table's, including the bill, but our server caught it in the moment and gave both tables a discount; 2) food itself was average, the sides are above average (especially the sweet corn pudding) but you can get higher quality steak and seafood at other surrounding restaurants for a better price; 3) the music choice is too stark of a contrast for the restaurant vibe. I love 2000s club music as much as any other millennial but not for this restaurant.

Maybe it was just because it was Monday night, but everyting was bad about this experience. I get it that the restaurant has decided to be a pseudo nightclub with the house music and a DJ, but for me...not so much. We sat and sat and sat and nobody came to the table. I put my head on a swivel and am pretty sure the only reason our server came over was becasue she saw the look of abject frustration on my face. We ordered the Calamari appetizer. This was a new experience because it was literally the smallest amount of calamari I have ever seen placed in what was supposedly a full order. Apparently the portion control managers at STK must really be looking out for us. Another twenty minutes went by and I got my caesar salad - but not before our companion who had simply ordered tuna tartare as her meal had her tuna tartare delivered as an appetizer. And in the case of the salad, the portion control the managers must have been asleep at the switch because that was easily enough for the four of us (and at $26 it should have been). Another half hour between the salad delivery and our main couses. One of our number had her steak so charred on one side as to not be able ot cut through it with her knife. A side dish was forgotten and then delivered just as we were finishing our entrees. The restaurant did their best to make up for it all with a hefty discount and four "comp" desserts (which were delicious but maybe not needed or asked for - but who's going to refuse that?). Lots of apologies from the the staff - the manager was a very nice guy and the server a very nice young woman. But all the apologies/discounts/desserts can’t make up for the fact that what was supposed to be a premium dining experience went terribly off the rails almost from the get-go. I just hope this truly was an "off" night for this STK location. I've had too many good experiences with the brand elsewhere to consider this to be the standard offering here.

We celebrated our anniversary at STK, and took advantage of their Steak Night America promotion. Portion sizes are fantastic across the board. One note, in other locations you get a bottle of wine for the table with the promotion, here you just get a glass of wine each. Just something to note! But still, everything was fantastic. Temps were great on meat, sides and appetizers were really astounding. Dessert was a celebration with fireworks at the table for our anniversary. Jesus was an excellent server and took great care of us! Truly made for a memorable evening!

Honestly, STK is the most overrated restaurant that we have been to. The ambiance was great but the food was mediocre.

We had dinner shortly after a UFC event the Salt Lake City location was hosting. It was clear the staff had to scramble to get things in order for regular dinner guests after the event. My seat was full of crumbs. One of the dinners we ordered was an Australian Wagyu flat iron steak. It was ordered medium plus but came out very rare and the cut seemed to have quite a bit of gristle. Our waiter was apologetic and did take half price off. Our waiter was great and it’s a cool spot. I don’t think we’d go back.
