Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts; un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. A la mezzanine, il y a une autre salle à manger où vous pourrez profiter de votre repas dans une ambiance plus classique. Des lumières illuminent chaque table, pendant qu'un DJ vous transporte dans un univers musical énergisant tout l'espace. STK Midtown est situé dans le centre de Manhattan, à quelques pas du quartier animé des théâtres. STK Midtown comprend une terrasse extérieure et un bar séparé pendant les mois d'été. Évidemment, le steak est la spécialité du STK. On vous propose des morceaux de viande en 3 tailles: petite, moyenne et grande, ainsi que des options de viande élevée naturellement et des plats de poisson frais du marché. Mis à part le steak, les éléments signature comprennent les frites à l'huile de truffe et parmesan, le "Lil’ BRGs", la queue de homard croustillante, le pudding de maïs et la salade de crabe.

Made a reservation for 8pm. Didn’t get seated till 8:40pm. Complained twice asking when our table would be ready and I was told that we were the next to be seated, then we saw 3 other couple be seated instead. (I had to complain AGAIN) The man at the front door was EXTREMELY rude. Picking and choosing who needed to leave out the front area. He told us to go to the bar in the back and wait, when we attempted to go back there, a different employee told us the bar was full. So we were then stuck standing waiting on the stairs, in customer and employees way of walking for 40 minutes. The tables were so tight together you couldn’t even squeeze into your seat without knocking things over. And lastly, our table was uneven and rocking back and forth constantly, when we asked if we could switch to the table next to us once the couple was finished eating, we were told no.

After a short wait we were shown our table by friendly and helpful staff. As soon as we sat down it felt that they were just wanting us to eat and leave as quickly as possible. After ordering our four 6 ounce steaks, they arrived on what resembled a plate for entrees, with a tiny thimbles of our pepper sauce, and a couple of tiny strands of whatever vegetable was handy (a red onion in my case). Definitely not a 6 ounce steak; a 4 ounce at best! Three were butterflied which we did not ask for, and mine was well done as opposed to medium, as ordered. Steaks and fries both pretty cold so we got fries swapped over. 2 glasses of wine and 4 terrible steaks and fries for a cool $400! Basically a fast food steak restaurant at shocking prices!

Had to wait 25 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. It was very cold and everytime the door opened, we were blasted with cold air since we were seated near the front. First drink we asked for from the holiday specials was not available. Overall food was great except the scallops which was average. Server did not come back to check on how the entrees were.

It was VERY crowded and after waiting 20 minutes beyond our reservation time, we let the hostess know we were trying to make it to a play after dinner and it was getting tight. She got us seated almost immediately and our waiter, Cameron, was extraordinary. He knew we were there for a nice meal but definitely had to do it rather quickly. Without making it feel rushed, he served us an amazing dinner and got us out the door on time. We were so grateful! Oh, and the food was outstanding! Our filets and lobster tail were cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, as were the spinach and asparagus sides.

Had to send my steak back because I asked for medium rare and I got well done! My granddaughter's first experience in NYC NYC and it wasn't great! The table where they seated us was cold-a bad draft on a cold evening

Wait staff was terrible from the hostess to the waiters. We ordered bottle of red and wine, but they forgot to bring wine glasses. Then the food came, but they forgot the utensils. They also forgot to bring the aforementioned wine with (or before!) the food. There were also multiple children at surrounding tables watching cartoons loudly on IPads with no headphones (at 2 pm). The restaurant refused to ask them to watch in silence. There was no coat check so we were overloaded with coats and bags at the table, not to mention a surly hostess. The food was good and the ceiling design was cool, but the restaurant was totally mismanaged and clueless staff. We will never return,

Delicious food! Quick service, great music. Just a tight squeeze…everyone kept bumping into my 70 year old mother and I felt bad.

Family of 4 - 3 of us got the filet and 1 got the short ribs. Steaks had very little flavor and were mediocre at best. The short ribs were very good, had a few fatty spots but were very tender. The best part was the sides, we got truffle parm fries which were delicious and the traditional Mac and cheese. For a meal that was $400, I guess I just expected a little more wow factor. Service was okay.
