Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts; un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. A la mezzanine, il y a une autre salle à manger où vous pourrez profiter de votre repas dans une ambiance plus classique. Des lumières illuminent chaque table, pendant qu'un DJ vous transporte dans un univers musical énergisant tout l'espace. STK Midtown est situé dans le centre de Manhattan, à quelques pas du quartier animé des théâtres. STK Midtown comprend une terrasse extérieure et un bar séparé pendant les mois d'été. Évidemment, le steak est la spécialité du STK. On vous propose des morceaux de viande en 3 tailles: petite, moyenne et grande, ainsi que des options de viande élevée naturellement et des plats de poisson frais du marché. Mis à part le steak, les éléments signature comprennent les frites à l'huile de truffe et parmesan, le "Lil’ BRGs", la queue de homard croustillante, le pudding de maïs et la salade de crabe.

The service provided by the wait staff was great! The food was good but grossly overpriced. Asking if you want butter and peppercorn on your food for additional flavor to be charged $20 is jaw dropping. I never leave a tip on the card when paying as I like to give cash. After paying the bill my server noticed I declined the tip and asked if there was an issue with the service. They noticed the decline as they stood over my shoulder the entire time as the tip was already added to the bill on the electronic payment and I click through to make it $0. (Most people would probably blindly accept it). I kindly said “no, everything was great” and continued with my conversation as I reached for cash from my wallet. I didn’t feel the need to break my discuss as we were not leaving at that very moment but they stood nearby, watching me until I gave them the tip. Weird and awkward feeling to be hovered over.

I would not recommend this place. The bread was cold, the food was like warm. The waiter rushed everything. It was like they cared more about what u wanted to eat and nothing else. My husband paid and the guy stood there with his back turned and when my husband dropped the tip down he turned around grabbed it up and walked off. Whoever is the manager of this place you need to do some work. The service was sloppppppppy. Mind you it was our anniversary and it felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. No good!!!

Food was great, Calamari was amazing… filets were cooked perfectly, the truffle butter was an excellent addition. Chocolate cake finished the night off exactly how I hoped!

Overall not as expected food quality not great for the price. Steak came well done even though ordered medium temperature. By the time steak came again all sides were cold and couldn’t enjoy dinner with my family. Steak not as comparable to Ruth Chris or chophouse other big steak houses for the price disappointing for sure. And they didn’t even give the steak complementary for all the trouble.

Love that they confirmed my reservation and read the details. We arrived earlier than the reservation time but they sat us early anyway. We took pics while we waited. The waiter was witty and nice. All the food was superb. You have to try the steaks and calamari. I’d like to recommend mock tails for people who don’t drink but don’t want soda. I’ll be making another visit back in the future.
