Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts; un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. A la mezzanine, il y a une autre salle à manger où vous pourrez profiter de votre repas dans une ambiance plus classique. Des lumières illuminent chaque table, pendant qu'un DJ vous transporte dans un univers musical énergisant tout l'espace. STK Midtown est situé dans le centre de Manhattan, à quelques pas du quartier animé des théâtres. STK Midtown comprend une terrasse extérieure et un bar séparé pendant les mois d'été. Évidemment, le steak est la spécialité du STK. On vous propose des morceaux de viande en 3 tailles: petite, moyenne et grande, ainsi que des options de viande élevée naturellement et des plats de poisson frais du marché. Mis à part le steak, les éléments signature comprennent les frites à l'huile de truffe et parmesan, le "Lil’ BRGs", la queue de homard croustillante, le pudding de maïs et la salade de crabe.

Friend and I came for their steak night special on a Wednesday night. I had been to the village location before, but it was her first time in NYC so we stuck to midtown. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told to wait to the side or at the bar to be seated. The hostesses honestly were not friendly or approachable. We used the restroom, returned to the side of the host stand as directed , and then we were walked to the far back restaurant where we were seated. In my reservation request, I asked for a central seating location, preferably without hightops. Though I know special requests can never be guaranteed, it looked likely as we scanned the available tables upon arrival and as walking throughout the restaurant. Obviously not, because we were sat in the farthest corner of the restaurant possible, squeezed up against a cold wall in a secluded private room and that is not exaggeration. We were the only people in the room beside one table so we asked to move away from the wall toward the center of the room and that was fine with our server. Needless to say atmosphere could have been way better - I was really excited and hoping to sit in the main dining room. We came for the steak night special - I saw it online, but in person there was no advertisement on any of the menus we were given until we asked for it. We ordered the Bonanza Cab, they brought a different bottle and told us we had been “upgraded”, even though we both knew that was not the case. Caesar salad was the best part of our meal, filet mignon was fine but I’ve had better both in and out of NYC. My friend and I have both worked in the industry for several years, from fast casual to upscale and fine dining. We understand that the hours can be long, guests can be unpleasant, etc., but when the bill is averaging $75-100/pp, I would expect the service and people representing your brand to match the high quality experience that you advertise to your patrons.

16 October 2024 ; we had an amazing first date here at STK ; our service team was really polite and friendly and all of our food was really good and the dj played one of my favorite tracks from my favorite dj Purple Disco Machine ; perfect night and we hope to be back to dine with you again soon ;) xx Michelle & Mitchell

We were looking forward to a wonderful birthday celebration turn out very disappointing evening. The quality of food and service was horrible. For STK to be considered a high-end steak house and charging high prices, the quality of food and service should have been much higher standards The evening began by the waitress not being familiar with menu at all. i had to request for the manager to answer several questions on the items on the menu. We ordered surf and turf and temps of the meat originally ordered were wrong and they had to be sent back. Also there was no flavor on meats. We also ordered expresso martinis and they had to be returned as well they were extremely sweet. the waitress did not even asked if she should bring us another drink. She just removed the drinks. When the dessert finally came - there were no candles added to dessert after specifically stated on the reservation and her that it was a birthday celebration. To end the evening with dessert and no coffee or drink because waitress did even considered what her job entails was disappointing. Overall the quality of this restaurant in all aspects is not up to par to other great Steak houses. Definitely will not recommend.

underwhelming. The meat was good but expensive. It took quite awhile to get our order despite the restaurant having no more that 10-15 guests total at 2:00 PM. No baked potatoes at all, only deep fried (in very used oil) or mashed potatoes. Unbelievably there is NO BREAD available which is unheard of when eating meat. The waiter said they do have some bread in the evening but not at lunch. What??

Very poor service. Wrong food delivered. Drinks coming late. Too eager to get us out and very poor service. Not worth a visit again (have been there many times but has totally lost the touch).

From the drinks to the food to the excellent music playing all night ! We loved every minute of it ! Delicious food and all around great time here !

We drove from Philadelphia to NYC to celebrate a 50th birthday. It was a party of 2. At our arrival, which was 30 mins before our reservation, the hostess suggested we take a seat at the bar and said someone would come grab us once our table was ready. We took a seat at the bar and had a drink. 45 mins later, I requested status of our table. The hostess advised, “we were looking for you can couldn’t find you so we skipped you. We will make you next”. I understood the confusion considering how busy there were. However, 20 more minutes later and many more parties had been seated, I again asked for status. Ultimately, we got our table. After being seated, the food was disappointing. We have been to STK in PR and the STK in Vegas, based on the quality of food and service, this locations doesn’t even come close to the standard set by the other two locations. The only similarities were the music and esthetics. The tuna tartar had poor quality tuna and no seasoning, the crab cake was edible, the filet was tough and dried ( we requested it be cooked medium). We ordered it Oscar style and the crab meat had an odd taste. We couldn’t eat that part. We ordered a cheese hash brown which arrived and looked burned. We didn’t touch it (the waiter did take this off the bill without us requesting him to do so which was the only good thing we can say about this place). We also had a lobster pasta dish that was also dried. We had several forks full and sat it aside. We decided to have dessert some place else considering how bad everything else was, we didn’t expect the dessert to be any better. This all wouldn’t be such a big deal but if you are paying $400 for a meal, one would at least like to enjoy it. Overall, this place left lots to be desired both service wise and in the quality of food. For the record, we eat out at good restaurants regularly, this is the first time I felt compelled to leave a written review.

Our waitress was delightful and very friendly. We shared the shrimp cocktail which was fresh and had delicious sauce. My duck burger was very tasty along with the sweet potato fries. Also highly recommend the parmesan mashed potatoes and the sautéed mushrooms.

The steak and lobster were overcooked, the dirty martinis weren’t dirty. Very different crowd than we expected in NYC
