    Our waiter,James, was fantastic as he was very welcoming and made our dinner feel special. The food was excellent yet over-priced. The martinis were 20+ dollars each…yet were average in quality. The DJ (why?) played loud house music that didn’t add any value and was the reason that we didn’t order dessert so we could leave and find our hearing.

    The experience we had at STK Midtown New-York was amazing: great food, great wine, great service and ambiance. What we had in Nashville was far from it. The steaks quality and cooking execution were perfect. But other than that, nothing matched the price tag. Deserted place, overcooked lobsters and vegetables, poor presentation and a Dwight-from-The-Office-look-and act-alike manager kind of ruined our mood. The staff did positively try to repair their manager’s mistake, but when something is broken, it is really hard to un-broke it.

    We like to travel for music and great food and STK was something we looked forward to as reviews mentioned great food and exciting atmosphere. Upon arrival we quickly learned there was apparently no dress code as many patrons were very casual in shorts and hats at the table. We then noticed the music- a DJ playing popular dance and club music- which gave the atmosphere a fun vibe. When seated, we asked for bottled water which we each had a glass filled and then constantly refilled with tap water from another server. We were explained that food orders had to be placed at one time which we thought odd but okay- we assumed despite this they being a high end restaurant we wouldn't have to worry about our experience being rushed. We were wrong; still working on an appetizer our steaks were delivered (not by our main server). We were explained in the beginning that they are 'known' for their browning of the butter at the table but the guy said he forgot his torch and he'd be back with it. He comes, torches the butter, and leaves us- with no steak knives. Patiently waiting we finally see our server and we ask for knives. We were not asked to cut into our steaks to check for correct temperature- probably knew better because one was over done and the other undercooked. And before anyone wonders if we simply just mixed up our steaks- we did get two different cuts. Sides were sides- nothing to mention there. Again, we love a great eating experience and do not mind paying for it. I wish I could say this was one for us. We have gotten much more attentive service and higher quality food for a fourth of the price. If you want to sit through a fun DJ mix and do not mind basic food that is what your money is for.

    Our waitress was fair at most. She forgot the butter on our steaks and did not offer any bread until my wife asked her why we didn’t. She told us she didn’t think we would want any. She also seemed to get annoyed when we asked questions.

    Great service. But need to let customers know from the get go that they have to pay for water. Especially first time customers. Other than that great service

    We had brunch here and what a beautiful spot. Of course it's a little pricey but we knew this from eating at another STK in Orlando, but the ambience is just beautiful and clean. The food was great and service was great. Would definitely come back again.

    Literally the worst meal I’ve had in Nashville. Way way overpriced for crap food. There is a reason why this place has openings all the time. Terrible. Save your $$$$$. Go elsewhere.

    Absolutely horrendous no service at all!!! Left after being ignored by staff for twenty minutes. There was only 4 tables occupied and about 7 employees.
