Was our second evening in a row! Food was top shelf! Service was next level and vibe was hip! Will be back!!

Arrived for a 7:45 reservation at 7:40 and was told they were waiting on a table which is understandable. Checked back multiple times and on the 4th check we were no longer on the list. Hostess apologized and said “just a few minutes” at about 8:30 we finally were seated. Order taken at roughly 9pm. Food was delivered at 10:00pm. There was a large conference at the hotel but we made a reservation for that purpose to entertain a partner. After an hour of waiting our guest left. We didn’t want to find another restaurant that late so we stuck it out. Manager said he would remove our first round of drinks and provide desert but when the $550 check came all our drinks were still there. I didn’t have the energy to argue so we just paid left a more than generous tip because it wasn’t the waiters fault and left.

Although reservations were made, the wait time upon arrival was still over an over. Once seated the service and food were excellent.

Waited for one hour to be seated even with a reservation. Quality of food was great and it came out orderly. Music and general noise in the dining room was very loud. Despite not being very close to the bar. Server was attentive

From start to finish, my experience at STK -DC was very poor. We had reservations for our anniversary at 7:30PM and we weren’t seated until close to 8PM. We finally ordered all of our food at once (this is the style that is done) at around 9PM, which is a lengthy wait, and our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order and it wasn’t realized until we saw a couple who had sat down well after us, get there appetizers. So this had to be about 25 minutes after we had ordered. The waitress expedited the oysters, but unfortunately they did not hold or wait for us to eat them before bringing out our steak entree. Our steak came out 2 minutes after we finally received our oysters and it was very frustrating to see. We asked for a medium rare steak and that is not what we received. In fact, it was far from that and in many places it was well done. We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts which were burnt and we had to send them back. It got so bad, that we ultimately didn’t even eat the Brussels sprouts. In addition to that, we specifically stated that we wanted wine with our dinner and we never even got around to ordering that because drinks took forever to order and come out. As we were waiting for our appetizers we ordered drinks thinking that would come out speedily, but they came out with the entree which was about 20 - 30 minutes later. We were told that the kitchen along with the bar was backed up but this was no excuse in my opinion. Overall, this was a very bad experience and I likely will not come back here. As an anniversary dinner, which I noted on my reservation, this did not leave a good impression and noting that it was our anniversary did nothing.

Our reservation was scheduled for 7:15 PM. We experienced a wait of 45 minutes before being seated, followed by an additional 30 minutes before our food was served. Furthermore, our waitress neglected to submit our drink order, resulting in an additional wait of 15 minutes. Upon receiving our meal, we found that it was excessively seasoned. I have dined at STK in Puerto Rico, where the experience was exceptional. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this location, as it has proven to be overrated.

The overwhelming high ratings at this location is highly overrated. Food took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive to our table, it was hot but lacked flavor and had excessive amounts of oil. The best thing we received were the fries. The Happy Hour has great pricing but wished the food had more flavor. The drinks were okay; they were was super bitter but definitely got the job done. I can’t say I’d recommend this location because of the slow service and lack of flavor in the food. However, I’d recommend the brand but at a different location.
