The restaurants in a great location and the Ambiance seems really cool but the food was terrible the $60 sea bass tasted super fishy and everything else was poorly prepared, that's not to mention the fact that we were seated 20 minutes later than our reserve time

First time dining at STK D.C. last night. The wait time was not bad only 5 mins after my reservation time. My server was Johnnie who was super friendly and lots of energy. It was a little slow in getting drinks and food but not his fault the establishment was busy. My table loved our drinks and sides but were disappointed with our steaks. No flavor and very tough. We are big steak eaters and eat at the best of the best steak houses so this was truly disappointing. Johnnie did everything he could to make it right but it just was the quality of steak that was not for us. The restaurant was clean. Very beautifully laid out just not the best food experience for my party.

The only thing good about STK is the ambience. This restaurant is overrated and overpriced. The food has no flavor and tasted mediocre.

Service was less desirable; slow and some unwanted sarcasm when things didn’t go right. Good was mediocre, especially for the price. Honestly, it’s a great name (STK), however it’s super highly overpriced and overrated. I’ve eaten at 3 different STK’s around the US and the one in DC inside the Marriott didn’t make the experience worth the money. I didn’t care about the cost of the one in Las Vegas as the staff made it an awesome experience and worth paying the overrated prices. I’ve had better prepared steak for half the price.

Nice atmosphere but way over priced and the food wasn't all that good... lobster was rubbery and waygu was not waygu...

I was looking forward to my STK dining experience and its not what I expected. There for happy hour, burgers were stale, fries were soggy, chicken was cold, so ordered from main menu a Chilean sea bass and it looked and tasted like my 10 year old made it. The worst food during my DC trip.

I took off one star because there was an initial problem with my food. However, overall the food was tasty and the management level customer service was excellent. Specifically, Chef Montanez who went above and beyond to provide a replacement dish and curated a special breakfast of Mofongo ( not on the menu) the next day.

My experience here was rather pleasant the way it was exceptional with explaining the menu. The ambience was beautiful, and the drinks were good. Be ready to spend some money.

Our server Yesly was incredible. She was very attentive and knowledgeable on the food options. We will definitely go there again.
