Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts en un seul - un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. Sur la mezzanine, se trouve une autre salle à manger où vous pourrez souper dans un cadre plus classique. Des lumières illuminent chaque table, pendant qu'un DJ vous immisce dans une ambiance musicale énergisant tout l'espace. STK Chicago est situé dans le cœur de River North et, fidèle à sa réputation, son steak est l'attraction principale. I’ve recently gone during happy hour and had a very positive experience. Last night I went for dinner with my wife, and the seating is very close to other customers where you can literally hear their conversation and honestly engage in their conversation which can feel a little awkward if you’re not wanting to be social. The food was just OK. I’ve had better short rib and the mac & cheese like a little bit of flavor and our waiter didn’t do a good job of checking in and asking us if we needed anything I mean she was going 1520 minutes without checking in we got our bread at the same time as our meal where is other people were getting their bread before their meal. We ended up paying extra for some sauce. The waiter asked us if we wanted to try and she didn’t communicate that cost extra for the service and the food experience. The prices are a bit absurd. I would not come back here for dinner, but I would circle back for happy hour, possibly.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Absolutely terrible. If you want to flex really hard with your money and maybe get sick from the staff not following proper health code safety— go to this restaurant. The management was a joke.. saying after a slew of unpleasant mishaps during our “fine dining experience” that they would make it up to us… this never happened. The manager didn’t even come back to check on us to see if we were enjoying our food. He was actually noticeably avoiding us which is real cute when a 6oz steak costs $70… ON TOP OF ALL THAT— we got SICK from the oysters. I would rate them negative five stars if I could. What an absolute waste of money not to mention dangerous. Part of me really wants to contact the health inspection authorities because eating here is unsafe. Totally ruined date night. I’d suggest that this establishment really gets their sh*t together before they get shut down. DONT. EAT. HERE. Go to Gibson’s… or literally anything else.

My waitress Laura was extraordinary! She provided me with excellent customer service for my birthday. She made my experience one to remember. Thank you Laura. The food was 10000/10, I would go back again even to just sit at the bar. The aura was good, drinks were amazing with a good choice of old school R&B music. If you go, try the blueberry lemon drop. This place was amazing, from the valet to being welcomed in and service.
