Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts en un seul - un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. Upon arrival it seemed very chaotic. Multiple hosts having conflicting discussions about where to seat guests. Once seated server was informative however as we ordered items we had to change our choices or provide backup options. Server should always inform guests on the first approach if there is anything out of stock or substitutions. As we ordered our mains we were informed of a dinner feature. Again this should be done on the first approach so guests can make a decision while waiting for drinks to arrive. No main course quality check. Had to flag down another server as filet was served well done. Ordered MR. Initial server came to table during this interaction and did apologize. Was told manager would come over. 10 minutes later. Spouse finished meal and manager showed. It’s understandable that mistakes happen and steaks can be overcooked. Disappointed in the lack of service and attention to detail. Sides were cold but flavourful. Steaks had great flavour. Too bad.

The lack of a timely quality check on your steak and delayed manager response are concerning, as they are critical opportunities to rectify issues. Great food and service. Enjoyed the ambience and energy. Waiter, servers, and staff were attentive and accommodating. The reception staff made us feel welcome even though we were late from unusually busy traffic. My only complaint is that the after dinner cordials are overpriced.

I went with a group of friends for my birthday, and it was the best decision I could’ve made! Although we were all late due to downtown traffic, the restaurant was willing to wait for my entire party to arrive while we waited at the bar. The food portions were outstanding! Everyone said that their food was delicious! The restaurant is beautiful, and it was an energetic vibe, but not too noisy. Our waiter was excellent. He went above and beyond even taking a picture of us outside. Although it is pricey, I would definitely go again.

Massively overpriced, ordered the wagyu tomahawk cooked medium. Came out medium well, separated from bone before cooking. I am 99% sure it’s wasn’t wagyu nor did it come from the bone that was on the plate. The steak and bone were different thicknesses and the flavor of the 2 was 100% different. The steak had char all the way around it as did the bone which is impossible to happen if cooked together.

Or chef does slice tomahawk steaks to be shared before their presentation, a process that includes separating steak from the bone. I understand this presentation can raise questions about authenticity and technique. It’s also frustrating to receive a steak overcooked from your requested temperature. Your observations about the char and overall presentation are valuable, and they will prompt a closer review of preparation standards to ensure consistency and quality. The steak was horrible, I was in shock that a steak worth 115 dollars was almost impossible to eat, the meat was like rubbish. The service was good, but the food was terrible.
