Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts en un seul - un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance for the day after Valentines Day. We are from the suburbs and drove over an hour to go out. We were put in some dark back room with 5 other tables completely away from the ambiance that is STK. I’ve gone her numerous times in the past and love the main dining area but this was such a disappointment. The food was ehhh. We got the Cesar salad, burrata, wagyu beef fried rice and bone in filet. We ordered the filet medium and it came well done. Took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks refilled and the filet caused us to not eat together 😢. Horrible experience for a dinner I bought a new dress for and drove over an hour to get to.

Never plan on dining there again . Food took so long to come . I change my order to be boxed to go. But once I looked at the short ribs I ordered, the was very disappointed. The beef rib was very dry , VERY little portion of mash potatoes. I also order the unchained passion drink , that too was disgusting. STK ruined our Valentine’s Day for sure .

It wasn’t a good experience for me and my wife the service wasn’t good and it was over crowded I asked to sit in a specific place and they just ignored me this place use too be so great now it has really fallen too me ask to speak to a supervisor and was deny ended up having to cut the night short on a special night because of the experience.

Hank was our server, in which he did a good job. The setting was just right, STK food is good but everything is overpriced. Nevertheless I enjoyed the night.

My boyfriend and I went to STK for Valentine’s Day, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We arrived at 9:20 PM and didn’t leave until 11:11 PM—without ever receiving our food. The staff kept coming to our table, telling us our order was “lost in the kitchen.” I’m five months pregnant and was really looking forward to dining here again after a great experience at the Vegas location. Sadly, the Stk experience here was nothing but frustrating. Smh.

Food was Great! It took a little long to make but not too bad. The problem was the very loud music. It was as loud as a dance club. I thought the other guess were going to start twerking between the tables. Song choices were great but it makes no sense for the music to be that loud and bass that high with speakers right above your head while trying to eat a high end dinner.

I recently dined at STK Chicago, and it was quite an experience. The atmosphere is definitely loud and lively, making it a great spot if you're looking for a fun night out with friends, but it might not be the best choice for a quiet dinner. I ordered the filet, and it was cooked to perfection – tender and flavorful, just as I hoped. The shrimp cocktail, however, was a bit underwhelming; I probably wouldn't order it again. The mashed potato side was tasty, but the portion was quite small for the price, which was a bit disappointing. The asparagus was good, but the stalks were limp, which took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. The service was very good – attentive but not overbearing, except for the upselling. Throughout the meal, there were significant attempts to upsell, from suggesting premium cuts of steak to high-end cocktails and desserts. While I understand it's part of the upscale dining experience, it did feel a bit much at times. Overall, the food quality was solid, with high-quality steaks and fresh seafood being the highlights. The service was generally good, with knowledgeable servers, although there were a few moments where things slowed down a bit. If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience in a stylish setting, STK Chicago is worth a visit. Just be prepared for the lively atmosphere and the upselling that comes with it.
