Le restaurant STK combine astucieusement deux concepts en un seul - un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand lounge central est doté de banquettes en cuir rappelant la peau de crocodile. Sur la mezzanine, se trouve une autre salle à manger où vous pourrez souper dans un cadre plus classique. Des lumières illuminent chaque table, pendant qu'un DJ vous immisce dans une ambiance musicale énergisant tout l'espace. STK Chicago est situé dans le cœur de River North et, fidèle à sa réputation, son steak est l'attraction principale. My waitress Laura was extraordinary! She provided me with excellent customer service for my birthday. She made my experience one to remember. Thank you Laura. The food was 10000/10, I would go back again even to just sit at the bar. The aura was good, drinks were amazing with a good choice of old school R&B music. If you go, try the blueberry lemon drop. This place was amazing, from the valet to being welcomed in and service.

Awful service and value. Went there for Happy Hour. We ordered two STK for $9 each, a beer and a diet, while keeping our menus for possible extras. Our drinks came right away, though my diet was flat and all syrup. I waited 15 minutes for server Sandy to return. I told her the problem and she said she’d get another. Our food came with servings so small I thought it was a joke; still no diet. In the meantime I watched her serve other tables repeatedly. Many minutes later I had to call her over again, another excuse, but no diet in sight. We finished our meal and I had to flag her down for the check. No mention of my drink, so I told her how disappointed I was. Had she communicated diet wasn’t an option I would have chosen something else. She was defiant, it was the bar’s fault, the manager only had two servers on the floor… none of which was my problem. She was complaining to me about not having time, when I watched her serve others over and over while avoiding our table. Skip this place when you have truly great restaurants with superb service and food so close.

Our first visit as a result of getting a gift card at the holidays from friends who thought we might like the menu as much as they do. My partner and I have different preferences as I like great seafood while he is a steak/chicken guy. We started with the fried calamari and found the very generous portion deliciously crisp and both sauces were so right for dipping to get a different flavor. My salmon was perfectly cooked to my medium rare request and the chicken entree was deliciously seasoned and sauced, having us both clean our plates. A wide variety of side dishes large enough to be shared. No less important is always great service and the young lady serving our table was so attentive and had a delightful personality that made us feel welcome our first visit.
