This was the worst experience I’ve had at STK! When we arrived, we were told it would be 20 to 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting over an hour, and they were seating people ahead of us who had been there for only 10 to 15 minutes with much larger groups than ours. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to come out. The food actually came out quickly, but it was clear that they premade a lot of stuff so they could pump it out fast. Our food was overcooked and didn’t have the care that were used to from STK. Not at all worth what we paid, and I regret choosing STK to spend my New Year’s Eve, honestly.

We were seated quickly. The upside was that the food was very good. On the downside, $25 drinks was rather silly, no steak knives available, and the table cloths were not switched after a party leaves (just brushed off) which was disappointing to see. All in all, a nice place with good food but overpriced.

The food portions were small but delicious. Great service and food came quick. Over all had a good experience but felt a bit rushed as if they just wanted us in and out or their service is just to attend to their customers fast. Came here for our anniversary date and they brought us some champagne to celebrate us. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The awful, loud, pounding music forced us to skip desserts and leave quickly (after about 40 minutes). It was Christmas Day, which made the ghastly music particularly jarring (why not play something pleasant and/or neutral and not painfully loud at least on this special day?). Normal human conversation was impossible. I strongly suspect the unbearable music is used to speed up turnaround of patrons. If that's the case, it worked effectively on us. Anyway, given how pricy this place is, we expected a much classier and pleasant atmosphere, not an acoustic imitation of a dive bar. What a waste!

The octopus appetizer was spectacular, particularly since it was my first time trying octopus (besides accidentally trying it as a sashimi). My steak was ordered as medium well and came out more well done than I expected. The service staff was on point too. Music is slightly louder which gives it a club like atmosphere rather than a traditional steakhouse restaurant atmosphere. That said, this is the place to be for a Christmas dinner!!

Service was rough and food was mid. We started out waiting 30 mins past our reservation time to be seated. Finally seated and the bar was out of a Gin brand that is always available. One steak was over cooked and not being able to find the waitress we just dealt with it. All in all quality is not worth the vibe. Go to John Howie or Ascend instead, they are both nearby, priced similar, great service, and consistently great food. Tried something new with STK, no plans to return.
