Le STK - Atlanta allie avec talent deux concepts, à savoir un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand coin salon central arbore des banquettes en cuir couleur crème et du carrelage à la texture de peau de crocodile. Il est entouré d'une salle à manger surélevée pour un repas plus formel. Les tables sont illuminées par un éclairage de scène théâtrale, tandis qu'un DJ investit tout l'espace d'une énergie communicative. Le STK Atlanta est situé au 1075 Peachtree Street, au cœur du quartier de Midtown, à Atlanta. Le chef cuisinier Mark Alba dirige la cuisine de ce restaurant de 2 étages situé juste à côté du Loews Hotel. Les steaks font bien sûr partie intégrante de la carte. Doté d'un esprit résolument féminin, le STK propose plusieurs coupes de viande (petites, moyennes et grandes), ainsi que des ingrédients cultivés naturellement et des plats de résistance à base de poisson frais du marché. Food was great overall. The staff was very communicative but I was highly disappointed as I made birthday reservations for my partner and when we arrived we were told there was a party reserving the first floor and we would be seated closer to our reservation time and to go across the street and have a drink as the bar was closed downstairs. We asked if we could go upstairs and was told someone would come get us. No one came. Once our reservation time arrived we followed up and was told it’ll be a few minutes. This turned into 30 minutes later and still not being seated. Nothing was complimented.

Ok so for the food, I had to put something to make this review. Story time: made reservations for 4:30pm. Due to traffic, I CALLED and spoke to someone AT STK first! He then transferred me to the call center to change my reservation time to 5:15. Cool. You get a 15 minute grace period. I was there at 5:20ish. Unfortunately, they had a buy out that night. So the main area was reserved for a company dining. Including the bar. I was NOT aware of this. So to accommodate people who made reservations, you were escorted next door and upstairs. Upstairs look like a tight area where you just throw people at. EXTREMELY TIGHT! Chairs were back to back. White walls. No nothing in there. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! So we did NOT stay! I went to the manager to express my disappointment due to placing this restaurant on a high standard and I had someone with me to experience STK for the first time. It was embarrassing and a huge let down! What I would’ve respected more, was when I called and spoke to someone actually at STK for them to make me aware of the situation so that I could’ve made a decision. Instead we travelled far and time was wasted. So the manager offered a free drink for the next visit. Am I satisfied? No. But not to make matters worst, I dealt with it. Still disappointed!

On entry my door greet was very classy and kind. Next the hostesses seemed super inattentive to guests arriving at the counter because I was escorted to the hostesses by the doorman and they simply ignored me for an extended amount of time. Sure they may have been busy but for alleged fine dining I would staff with one more member of the team during high volume. My seat was perfect. The decor was cute enough...Atlanta cute. My wine menu was DISGUSTING. The moment I retrieved it my fingers slid through a grease smear on the back. I felt like I was handling a low class diner menu. I ordered a cocktail pre-dinner and a glass of wine that I specifically told my server would be with dinner (steak). Well this alleged fine dining establishment served me my cocktail and two sips into it my wine arrived. Meaning the wine arrived significantly before dinner and just sat there on my table. Not a fine dining standard operating procedure. Food is good, just not worth the price point. Lots of great wine selections are available. My steak knife was presented to me quite awkwardly placed, no where near me and blade up. Strange. I won't go out of my way to return. I'd only consider it.

Food was horrible. I have never sent nothing back at a restaurant or left a food review, but I had to. Everything was cold and bland, I could’ve went my whole life w/o eating that food.

Went here for lunch on Veterans Day to celebrate with other vets. Upon arrival, the hostess wouldn’t even open her mouth to speak. We stood at the door to be acknowledge and she wouldn’t say a word. Mind you, this is not a busy time. Our server was the only server for about 6-8 active tables. He desperately needed more help. Water took a long time which was ultimately filled by someone in management, I ordered and appetizer and never got it, missed the opportunity to order an old fashion because we got our food and our server never returned. I wished he would have communicated his lack of assistance more because we only tipped 25%. The server himself was very respectful and apologetic instantly when he came back after the long hiatus. To be honest, if I was coming back it would have to be for the ceased salad.

I ordered medium, but it came to Weldon and was repeated twice. Nevertheless, I was unpleasant because I did not hear a formal apology and the response was not appropriate.

STK service was awful! Sit down 1 hour with water only! It was very hot and OVERPRICED. We ended up leaving and going to Ruth Chris!

Service was less than average. Food was overpriced. It was way too loud. We had reservations for 2 for over a week for an anniversary (which we told them at time we made the reservation) and yet we were placed in a crowded place in the bar rather than a nice booth in the restaurant part of the building. Will not go back again.
