Le STK - Atlanta allie avec talent deux concepts, à savoir un steakhouse moderne et un lounge chic. Le grand coin salon central arbore des banquettes en cuir couleur crème et du carrelage à la texture de peau de crocodile. Il est entouré d'une salle à manger surélevée pour un repas plus formel. Les tables sont illuminées par un éclairage de scène théâtrale, tandis qu'un DJ investit tout l'espace d'une énergie communicative. Le STK Atlanta est situé au 1075 Peachtree Street, au cœur du quartier de Midtown, à Atlanta. Le chef cuisinier Mark Alba dirige la cuisine de ce restaurant de 2 étages situé juste à côté du Loews Hotel. Les steaks font bien sûr partie intégrante de la carte. Doté d'un esprit résolument féminin, le STK propose plusieurs coupes de viande (petites, moyennes et grandes), ainsi que des ingrédients cultivés naturellement et des plats de résistance à base de poisson frais du marché. Outre le steak, les mets emblématiques du STK incluent les frites à la truffe et au parmesan, les Lil' burgers, les céréales de riz Rice Krispies aux crevettes, le pudding au maïs doux et la salade avec de gros morceaux de crabe.

Upon arriving, the door greeter was super sweet and kind. He escorted us to the hostess stand and told us someone would be with us shortly. We stood at the hostess stand for 10 to 15 minutes before being seated for our 6:30pm reservation. We were patient but unsure why it took so long to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant (before it got crowded). Our waiter was kind, but a little rough around the edges. We got a bottle of champagne which just sat out on the table with no ice. Our water was refilled frequently so that was very nice. Majority of our food was good aside from the steak, which you’d expect to be the best part lol. The steak was extremely tough and hard. I ended up not being able to finish it. Overall the experience was okay!

We live in Midtown and dined at STK to take advantage of the Steak Night menu which is a great deal. The food is outstanding and never disappoints. The service, however, is really lacking. Mistakes were made even though the Steak Night menu is pretty cut and dry. We were also given the wrong bill. If we weren’t paying attention we would have been overcharged. I love the Steak Night menu but not sure if I will return because of the service.

The wait staff was excellent. The steaks and the drinks are perfection. The sides leave a lot to be desired. The asparagus had no crunch, it was limp and devoid of much flavor. Completely overcooked. The mac and cheese was noodles and a cheese sauce. There was nothing that made this mac and cheese stand out beyond it's ingredients. It was just noodles and cheese sauce, it didn't make you want any more after you tasted it.

The place itself was a vibe but the steak there wasn’t great at all too high for something I didn’t eat but overall the drink an the place was a vibe

Reservation was at 830. Didn’t get seated until 9. Food wasn’t as good as we hoped. Service was cool. Building super small. Overall not with the hype.

The food was awesome. Our waiter Max was attentive and quick. The entire staff was respectful, warm and welcoming. This is my 2nd time at the is establishment and I will be returning as each time it is a pleasant experience.
