The room was too chilly for comfort and the servers were very attentive almost a bit too much. Otherwise the atmosphere was very calming and enjoyable.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is incredible. We went for brunch and the options and pricing area reasonable, considering it's a high end restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately there were multiple times when way too much time went by without seeing our service attendant. I'm not sure if they were just really understaffed. Overall, it was still a positive dining experience and I do recommend it!

First time visit to this elegant restaurant. We spent a few minutes looking around the Hotel and lobby area, this was quite elegant and worth the time. The restaurant is elegantly appointed and spacious. The table were separated enough to allow conversation, but still feel the dignified atmosphere. Service was attentive w/o being intrusive; well informed about the menu and details about the items. Appetizers were varied and interesting, deviled eggs were a big hit with all. Entree menu was split between red meat, pasta, catch of the day, chicken, pasta/vegetarian. The sides are plenty for 2 - 3 to share. The wine list is extensive and distributed between domestic and European vineyards, many good to excellent choices. The steaks are the centerpiece of the menu and tender and flavorful by any measure. Desserts are Southern and the Hummingbird cake is outstanding. All in all, probably the most elegant and refined experience in Ocala, impressive grounds, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended for a special occasion, we will go again.

The environment was nice and well set. It was quiet and easy to have a conversation. The food was not good though. The swordfish was not cooked evening throughout the fish and the steak was not cooked to the right temperature with parts of it over done and the other half undercooked. The food as lacked seasoning and did not have a great taste to it. We were originally very excited to dine here from out of town but left disappointed about the food.

My companion ordered the wedge salad which the server offered to have chopped in the kitchen making it much easier to enjoy. It was a large salad and it was eaten in the entirety. Next were scallops, which were excellent, and the corn risotto outstanding. Also ordered the Colorado lamb which was very tasty after I sent it back to get a bit more cooked. Ordered medium rare and it was RARE. Easy fix and the staff was very accommodating. Also split a twice baked potato between the two of us and enjoyed it very much, The sommelier apologized for not having the wine I had selected from the wine list and offered an alternate wine he thought we would enjoy based on our selection. His choice was "spot on" and only slightly more $$ than the bottle I had ordered. Made for an enjoyable evening.

Amazing! The pastry chef created a truly incredible pistachio raspberry dessert for us! The server was great as well…very cheerful and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone staying at WEC to go and enjoy this restaurant.
