STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in North Hills, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation.
The result is a categorically elevated cocktail. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Raleigh to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood from the cold bar, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Great casual up-scale dining. The openness of the whole place is nice. I enjoy watching the bar action.

This was an excellent dining experience. While the restaurant was very busy, we never felt neglected by the staff or experienced undue wait times for food or beverages. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. And the food was top tier.

Valentines night plenty of tables in the soft lit area we got crammed under a TV with basketball. Oysters were still attached to the shell. My steak frites was cold. The dessert was still half frozen but with mushy strawberries. Cocktails tasted great though. Overhyped restaurant needs to put in a little more effort

Our server Amber was so pleasant. She explained the special drinks and appetizers to detail. She was quick, made sure to check back up on us. Service was wonderful! The food was fresh! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I have been coming to Stir for lunch every year on Valentine’s Day for the past 3 years. It’s become a tradition, but we’re now thinking about changing up next year. Service was great, and the atmosphere was good, but the food has been lackluster lately. Last year, my wife got the BLT and said it was one of the worst she’s had. This year, we got the lobster crab cakes appetizer for $20. Expected to get at least 4 mini cakes- however it only came with 2 very small ones. Like maximum 2 bite small. Definitely not worth $20. I ordered a bourbon and ginger ale- which I couldn’t even finish because the soda was flat. The steakhouse burger and fries was ok. Wife got the seared tuna which she enjoyed, but only had 3 small slices of tuna on it. Overall, we’ll probably come back for date night with other couples at some point - but we’ll be looking elsewhere for our Valentine’s Day meal.

Great service, lots of interesting menu offerings with a cost starting in the teens for a complete meal. Atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend giving STIR a try.

An excellent place for brunch. I had the Classic Waffle, and my husband had the Country breakfast. Everything was perfect and hot, and the service was exceptional. Once again, Jacob was more than accommodating to our seating request. It was a beautiful day, so they had the side door open, giving you a open and friendly environment
