STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in North Hills, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation.
The result is a categorically elevated cocktail. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Raleigh to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood from the cold bar, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

1st time here. Service was very slow and server mixed up the charges as two of us got different items. Plus I had a $20 open table dining reward, but the restaurant was unable to use it! Very disappointed in everything.

When we were seated at 5:15 there were about 4 tables occupied and they tried to seat us in the absolute worst seat in the house despite it being practically empty. We asked to be moved and they accommodated. Our food came out cold the first time around (friend ordered steak frites and the fries were ice cold and soggy, my ravioli were dry and hard as if they had sat under a lamp for a while and my steak was cooked correctly but Luke warm at best). My friend asked them to refire hers and just wanted the three ravioli replaced but they took both our plates. The manager stopped by and apologized. Our server came back and asked if since it would be a while could she get us a second drink, we said sure. The second time the food came out it was delicious and hot. Then we got the check and both our entrees were on there twice. My friend asked them to correct it and consider adjusting the bill since it took an hour for us to get our food correctly, they came back with a “friends and family discount.” Overall it’s a beautiful restaurant and our server was attentive, the food when served hot and fresh was delicious, but we were disappointed about the overall experience this time.

The food was good and the place is nice. I would just like to see drink and beer specials. Also I come often and go the Charlotte location often as well.

Exquisite service and solid brunch fare—though the Hollandaise was weak. The jazz trio was a bit loud, but overall the ambience is a nice mix of class and relaxed. Excellent value.

Great food. Service was very good. Especially having another server come over as well when our server was dealing with a ten top. We never worried about asking for another drink

Our oysters and cocktails were great but the crunchy Mahi bowl was, unfortunately, tasteless.
