A very pleasant experience. I expected something either pretentious or of poor quality, but this was neither. This was a civilized relaxing place to take time out from the museum and have a nice meal.

Very nice food. Moderate portions, but that’s perfect for a meal at the museum. Overall superb and we will be back.

From our greeting to the very last second of leaving the entire staff was courteous engaging and absolutely top notch! I wished I lived closer so I could visit every season as the menu changes. If the offering we consumed was any indication of what the crew can do I/we would love to experience it again. Our dining was highlighted by the pace of service and attentiveness of the floor crew. The foods quality is the reason we gave 5 stars - just yummy 😋 We debated only giving four stars as the menu we read online was not what was presented to us - while the majority of items was the same menu two items we were looking forward to trying were not listed. It does happen and I find it hard to blame the staff for such things. Perhaps call the restaurant to verify. We talked about making this a travel action item as it happens more than it should especially with establishments that offer seasonal fare. A mere spec in an otherwise wonderfully enjoyed luncheon. We hope another block buster exhibition like Mary Cassatt visits the PMA so we can enjoy the pleasure of Stir again. To the entire staff - Bravo and keep up the great work!

Personable staff, inventive selections, beautiful space. We have eaten here several times while visiting Philadelphia for major art exhibitions and have never been disappointed.

The room was quite small and crowded with tables. I would have thought that a chance to re-think the dining experience at PMA would have produced something more congenial and attractive.

We chose to have lunch before our visit to the Cassatt exhibit. The food was perfect for a light lunch (salads with salmon all around) and delicious home baked rolls. The service was friendly and efficient. Great to have such a resource at the PMA!
