STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Great ambiance, great food. Good value for the money and great service. Only negative was that we were freezing having a table near the door. Couldn’t take our coats off

Great brunch spot. $5 mimosa & bloody Mary’s. Brunch bar was great. Chicken & waffles & the shrimp & grits were both fantastic. Go hungry.

I recently dined at STIR Charlotte, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our server, Noelle, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made our evening even more enjoyable. We went on Valentine’s Day! The ambiance was trendy yet casual. We kicked off our meal with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were a perfect blend of flavors and a delightful start. For my main course, I chose the Halibut Piccata, and it was simply divine! The white wine, butter, capers, and farro paired beautifully with the roasted vegetables. My hubby ordered the Filet & House Goat Cheese Ravioli, and he couldn’t stop raving about the tender filet and the delicious pecan pesto. To top it all off, we enjoyed some amazing cocktails. My husband loved the Stir Old Fashioned and Whiskey Bramble, while I savored the Slack-Jawed Jezebel and Elderflower Sour—both were outstanding! Everything was exceptional—food, service, and cocktails. I wholeheartedly give STIR Charlotte a 5 out of 5! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

The bfast buffet was mess, might have been better at the beginning but no one was taking care of it.

Wow what a great crowd today! Obviously word has spread how fantastic Stir is.. of course the food and drinks are awesome but what makes Stir extra special are the wait staff and managers! We LOVE Stir and bring all our friends there for Sunday brunch to enjoy the music too ..thanks to EVERYONE today!!
