STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Our dining experience was stellar, as usual. The food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The service was on point and we enjoyed some live jazz music during brunch.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at STIR again for brunch, and I must say, it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and the perfect blend of trendy yet comfortable. The décor had a modern touch with a relaxed ambiance, making it an ideal spot for brunch with friends or family. Service: 5/5 The staff at STIR were exceptional. From the hostess to our server, everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Our drinks and food arrived promptly, and the server even took the time to recommend some must-try dishes. It was clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority here. Food: 5/5 The brunch menu at STIR was absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. I ordered the Country Breakfast with chicken breast, and it was perfection—fresh, and seasoned just right. The standout, though, had to be their signature Lobster crab cakes—rich, savory, and perfectly cooked. And let’s not forget the cocktails! Their mimosas were crafted with fresh ingredients, we got the jumbo/giant mason jar for 6 it was perfect. Ambiance: 5/5 The atmosphere was buzzing but not too loud, making it perfect for conversation. Whether you're looking to catch up with friends or enjoy a relaxed meal, STIR strikes the right balance between energetic and cozy. Plus, the outdoor seating area was a wonderful bonus for enjoying a sunny brunch day! Overall: 5/5 I can’t recommend STIR enough. If you’re looking for an amazing brunch experience with top-tier service and a menu that will leave you craving more, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back soon!

The food was top notch, but they were out to the lobster mac and cheese. The service was good. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and updated.

The service, vibe and cocktails were very good. The food was just okay. We had chicken piccatta and grilled chicken caprese. The descriptions said vegetables, but the vegetables were very few. Lots of risotto or rice which really didn’t go well with the piccatta.

Waitress seemed stressed, and never checked on us. Took 25 min to get our check. Food was great though.

Service was great ambience was great and all in all everything was great! The food was ok nothing to rave about but the ambiance and service made up for that!

Unlike traditional Sunday brunches, this brunch is really just "add on" side dishes to the entree that you order from the menu. Nothing special here- pasta salad, chicken salad, cookies etc. I really wanted waffles but the waffle maker was broken so Stir was probably not the best choice this day. The deviled eggs were varied in appearance but the most flavorful were the bacon topped. I would try them again because our server was awesome!
