Welcome to The Stile Bridge, we have recently re-opened under new ownership and management following our sister restaurant "The Poet at Matfield".
We serve food lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, serving drinks & Bar snacks all day.
We source all our produce locally, finding inspiration from South America, Asia, South Africa and Europe to bring together a "New World" menu with Wines from across the earth to compliment your meal.

The staff are brilliant, friendly and attentive, but not in your face. Food was excellent as always! Happily recommend!!

Pleasant pub atmosphere in the dining room but outstanding food. Lamb skewers absolutely delicious ditto brisket to start with. My wife's sirloin steak was perfectly cooked with interesting and delicious roasted cauliflower. Dessert of rhubarb sorbet and lemon posset all home-made and wonderfully tasty. Excellent service and our food arrived very promptly.

The food was superb and the service excellent. Slightly disappointed with the Affogato but the white chocolate and rhubarb dessert was amazing.

The wife and I went Saturday evening for dinner and were both very surprised at just how good the food was, the outside doesnt shout fine dining, and more local pub but the food was extremely good, and not bad value for the quality. The new owners have certaily got some work to do to change the identity of the outside to align with the inside but overall it was a really nice surpirse and a very nice evening. Would happily recommend this place to friends.

A lovely country pub, relaxind decor, intimate, very good, attentive but not over the top service. The food, especially the beef, was excellent. As was the dessert. And very good wine pairings. A place to return to!

Excellent Sunday roast - beef cooked exactly how I like it. Roast potatoes also perfect. Staff helpful but not intrusive.

Really, really good. Went for Sunday roast with the family and the food was really a cut above everywhere else, and really great value!

Sunday roast was excellent. Beef cooked as I like it, my grandson said his pork roast was very tasty and my husband enjoyed the chicken. We are regular Sunday visitors to the Stilebridge and the food has always been first class.
