Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £20. It’s available at lunchtimes Monday – Friday and until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. Celebrated my 50th birthday in my local favourite place to eat last night - as always everything was fantastic. Service is always brilliant, between us we had a mix of dishes from the bistro and main menus, all of them were delicious and clean plates all round!

Sticky Walnut is definitely worth the visit. This is a proper local Bistro. Understated, unpretentious, good food and service that sat right in the sweet spot between informal and discrete. Pricewise, not cheap, fair play to them, they've worked hard, come up with a menu, sourced quality ingredients, decked the place out modestly but comfortably and it is yummy, yuppy Chester, so guess you expect a check at the end. I didn't begrudge them that at all. Thanks for having us. Will gladly return.

We had a great dinner at Sticky Walnut. I had a Pork belly starter, featherblade of beef main, and warm lemon and brown butter syrup pudding. The pork belly was full of flavour, with an excellent balance of fat and lean. The featherblade never disappoints, with the intense beetroot ketchup, all perfectly rounded with the delicious ‘old school’ dessert. Service was charming, efficient and unhurried. We will be back.

Amazing food and service. Ambience was interrupted by a crying baby adjacent to our table. Couldn't be helped really. Just unlucky. He was a cute little fella though. 😁
