Our new year set menu for one - 'Stick To What You Love' is only available in January 12pm - 6pm. Here, it's all about the sticks from the grill, miso soup and rice - hot and comforting. After all, we're a sushi restaurant even for those who don't like fish. Choose the Sticks Menu for a winter warmer (£19.50) Miso Soup STICKS (x5) -Shake Teriyaki -Tsukune Chilli -Ramu Niku -Shishito Yaki -Momo Nanban Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) OR, Dive into the Sea Menu for a lighter lunch (£19.50) Miso Soup Grilled Edamame Seaweed Salad Rice Paper Shake Available every day throughout January from 12pm-6pm. Was crammed close together on sharing tables, the chairs don’t go under the table to you are forced to sit back, the table was also wide so it was hard to have a conversation all the while being directly next to the people.

Great service. Good welcome and shown tour table quickly. Friendly server. Knew her stuff. Service not slow. Excellent food. Broccoli tempura excellent. Food a little pricey but very enjoyable. Nice picpoul wine.

Great food, the set menus are great and I was particularly pleased to be able to swap one dish for another due to dietary requirements.

Bit average to be honest. £120 for 2 people - we didn’t order any alcohol. The food wasn’t the best. The sticks were a bit cold and not the best meat. Awkward seating on a long shared table but was trapped and couldn’t get out as people sat either side. Shame really, we used to love sticks but it wasn’t anything special

New menu, a bit less readable but still good. Great service and very helpful staff, especially the young lady assigned to take our order. We'll be back!

Our waitressforgot about us immediately (which she admitted), forgetting to take our order, bring our drinks. We had to continue to ask for the next phase of the meal/drinks. It was an hour wait between our sushi then the sticks, manager came to admit they lost the ticket. We tried to pay for the bill but again, they disappeared for 10 minutes. Had to walk up to the door to try and pay. Complained to a bar member when trying to receive the bill and he responded by walking off. Really disappointing.

We always enjoy ourselves here and this time the sushi was particularly good. The menu is overcomplicated but we have our favourites so just go back to those. It's expensive for what it is but we will be back!
