    Delicious. The platters were well portioned, considered, and of great variety. Cocktails were delicious, and the service staff were wonderful and knowledgeable.

    Sticks and sushi is usually a favourite, But so many issues arose this time I'm not sure I'd go back! The management host unfortunately hadn't taken notes of my request for specific seating due to my disability, I was told by a staff member that their service was lacking to my party due to another bigger more important table earlier not having enough staff, like this was my fault and I wasn't paying the same price for food. My server didn't understand the dishes, couldn't understand basic English and was creating a very hard time for me with neurodivergence One specific table was extremely loud and kept screaming even with ear defenders in I could hear them and they were never asked to respect other tables. Using the disability toilet the emergency wire was wrapped around the mobility aid which meant I set off the alarm just standing up and that it wasn't touching the floor which is actually illegal. Four times I asked someone for a chocolate fish that it would have made my stay better after not being able to get a dish I wanted and I couldn't get a drink on the menu because equipment wasn't working. How I wasn't notified of this when I was sat down I'm unsure. Surely things should be checked every shift. Customer service was lacking Food was great but it usually is Perhaps I'd recommend not attending the Oxford chain. But I definitely would think twice before returning. It was extremely hard to combat and fight the fact I needed specific seating, as a disabled person I felt unwelcome and I feel should someone as for a specific detail it should be noted.

    The choices of food are amazing. Even better are the pictures - and the plates look axactly the same as the photos. Make sure you leave room for the dessert! Not the cheapest meal, but the quality of the food plus the excellent service more than makes up for the higher prices. £95 for two with no alcohol and two soft drinks.

    Hair found in food, complained to waiter who's english was quite poor. Made us another dish which we didn't want and asked not to do and were charged.

    This place was absolutely perfect. Incredible food (which we bought a lot of so we could take home!), fast service for the craftsmanship and wonderful staff that were super attentive and friendly, but not to the point where they were imposing. For anyone that wants a fun mashup of Japanese and Danish culture, this is the perfect place to go. We were asked our preference on inside or outside dining, serving was tailored based on the reason for the outing, we were always checked in on, and it really felt like we had a lot of input on the experience too which was lovely. The portions were perfect if not generous, and it felt so open in the way you could view the kitchen and bar and see the masterpieces come to life should you wish to. And oh, the food… I’ve never had sushi like it, it was spectacular! It made me realise that certain things I thought I disliked I actually didn’t, I just needed to try it at a higher standard. My boyfriend would say the same, but he eats anything ,:). Couldn’t find a fault in the experience!
