    Overall, it was a great experience, but I did notice that my daughter's birthday wasn't acknowledged. The service could use improvement, as we had to keep reminding the waiters. On the bright side, the food was great and the ambiance was excellent!

    Menu choice is fine, if a little mainstream, you are very aware of being a number in a chain restaurant. Service was slow and disjointed

    The food is beautiful to look at and to eat and the restaurant itself is a really well designed space. The service was great. It is not a cheap night out but worth it for the effort that has gone into it all.

    Fabulous meal... 'As good as it gets' set menu was fabulous. Great atmosphere. Only negative was that the AC was pretty high - I run warm but was chilly in long sleeves and so was my husband.

    Beautiful venue, very attentive service and delicious food with lovely and unusual flavour combinations. BUT and it's a major but.....this is sooo expensive. Considering that the venue has an informal feel to it, you are paying very high end prices for (albeit tasty) small sushi platters and skewers. We had a sharing option for 3 people, one alcoholic drink and two soft drinks. Including service this came to £236. It was my partner's birthday and they gave him a complimentary dessert which was a nice touch. However due to the high prices we would not go again in a hurry. We were torn between loving the food but feeling a bit ripped off. There are other Japanese restaurants in Richmond which are half the price which we will continue to go to.

    Pets-friendly restaurants, furbabies can be seated indoor and to celebrate with us. Food is amazing. Thanks for the surprise as we didn’t expect that. Definitely will come back again. Staff is very attentive and friendly.

    Had a bit of a disappointment, service wasn’t the best. The waiter seemed very friendly but got our order wrong, he wasn’t anywhere to be seen when I needed to ask a question and I had to go to the kitchen counter to ask if my dish was right which wasn’t. I had two small kids with me and asked if the hosomaki could be sliced thinner to help my little one chew, the kitchen didn’t get right and cut the sushi roll in half which was bizarre. 1st visit here was great, this time not so much

    Really awful staff service, lack of attention, no dessert or coffee offered, no further drinks offered, sparkling wine flat, food okay but whole experience very disappointing. We would definitely not recommend. It was our anniversary which was a real shame as we would like to forget our evening at Sticks and Sushi Richmond!
