Immediately after checking the booking at the door, we were shocked to be notified that, as we had booked through Open Table, they would like us to eat only at the bar. Had we booked using Seven Rooms via THEIR app, we can sit anywhere that there was a free table! Naturally I wasn’t having any of their discrimination nonsense and told him where I was going to sit. Apart from that, everything was wonderful!

I love the food here. If it was slightly cheaper I’d go a lot more. Also be great if more choice for kids. But great for a date night. Amazing addition to Richmond. Everything is delicious! I wish I could eat it everyday! 👌

Overall a very nice lunch, attention to allergies was great and the speed of service was also on point. We had some cocktails to start which were amazing, and the beef tataki and miso soup that followed were also great. The broccoli and iberico ham skewer also amazing and deserve a mention. The only dishes that disappointed a bit were the Alaska roll and the goat cheese and ham wrapped skewer which needed something like honey to balance as it was much too salty. The Alaska roll due to something from the fish eggs leaving a very bad aftertaste. However my friend enjoyed it so I believe this is personal preference. Would return 100% but more in an evening capacity as I think the atmosphere would be better.

Meeting a friend for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival I was quickly greeted and taken to my table. It was actually buzzing for a Monday night and the ambiance was quite cool. Drinks arrived quite swiftly, same as the food but the service was appalling. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen, I had to get up 3 times to get attention as nobody was attentive to the area where we were seating. Not sure I will go back as this made us feel a little awkward.,

Good new addition to Richmond restaurant scene. Nice atmosphere, albeit seems ver busy. Food was good and service as well. Some confusion with opentable booking which was only supposed to be at the bar apparently but fixed

We went on a Friday night as a family. When we arrived, we were told that as we had booked through OpenTable, that we were obliged to sit at the bar on high stools in a row. There had been no mention of this when I made the booking. I had to stand my ground to be sat at a table. And they were plenty of tables available when we arrived. This did not make me feel very wanted as a customer. I don’t quite understand why booking through OpenTable should cause you to have inferior seating! There was loud music being played which caused everyone to have to shout which was not very relaxing. The food did not taste very fresh, which is a problem with things like sashimi. They are obviously aiming at a young crowd, but in doing so they are ostracising other customers.
