Our new year set menu for one - 'Stick To What You Love' is only available in January 12pm - 6pm. Here, it's all about the sticks from the grill, miso soup and rice - hot and comforting. After all, we're a sushi restaurant even for those who don't like fish. Choose the Sticks Menu for a winter warmer (£19.50) Miso Soup STICKS (x5) -Shake Teriyaki -Tsukune Chilli -Ramu Niku -Shishito Yaki -Momo Nanban Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) OR, Dive into the Sea Menu for a lighter lunch (£19.50) Miso Soup Grilled Edamame Seaweed Salad Rice Paper Shake Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) Available every day throughout January from 12pm-6pm. A mixed evening at Sticks’n’sushi. For the positives, the food was fantastic, our servers were lovely and the manager who dealt with our issue was incredibly professional and courteous. The venue is in a great location and the atmosphere in the restaurant is modern with a traditional feel. The negatives: Having requested to move from our original table that we were seated at, there was then a bit of musical chairs where they moved us again having by then settled in. Once seated, our servers were prompt in taking our order and delivering drinks. We were pushed for time as we had a show to attend and after 50 mins with no food delivered and other later arriving tables already eating, we made mention to the server who said there had been a system issue which meant our food had never been ordered. Our food was then prioritised and we had to scoff our meal in 10 mins before leaving for the show. This understandably was a shame as the sushi was outstanding and we’ll be sure to return to enjoy the moment without time pressure! I made mention of our poor service to our server and she asked a manager to come and see us. The manager was lovely and sorted out our concerns. Would recommend a visit

Beautiful surroundings and good food but non existent service. Took 20 min to get water on the table and the food stood ready on the counter for 25 min before someone showed up and took it to the table. No one cleared the table. At the end we went to the bar to pay. Never got the chance to order dessert. No one ever came to the table for us or the other tables nearby. The other guests left too, and we all met up at the corner ice cream bar for dessert

I had an amazing experience at this place! The food was absolutely excellent, and the service was top-notch. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I truly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Overall food is great as always but service was lacking. We were seated in an area that we didn't book and getting attention took time. Please don't ruin this place - enjoy coming here.

Took my friend for his birthday, but waiters seemed very annoyed having to serve us and wasn’t the best atmosphere

The food is okay but nothing to write home about. A lot of it is panko coated and it loses its taste. The service was good and attentive. We could have done with being told we were ordering quite a lot of food (which we ate! :-) ) There is a big but. They don’t seem to have cooker hoods! We ate at the sushi bar and the smoke and the smell was uncomfortable, and we weren’t even right by by the kitchen area but the drinks area. We smelled as if we had been fried ourselves! We had to wash every item of clothing including our coats when we got home! That needs addressing, we will not go back. We paid £140 and ate quite a bit, a bundle for two and another dish. We didn’t go hungry! Tap water..

Food was good as usual! Service was super slow today. Not sure if it was because they did not have enough staff or because they were all fairly new, however they were not very attentive.
