The food was great as always. However, the booking process was complicated. The information about the offer was misleading as it was not directly referring to the booking through dedicated Sticks'n'Sushi App. The pink on the website was only to the OpenTable app. And in the OpenTable App the offers were listed. However, these offers do not apply if you book a table through OpenTable App. In that respect OpenTable App is pretty useless if you want to get any special offers. This was quite disappointing and misleading.

It's always lovely food and service in this restaurant. We didn't eat a lot and we only had one drink each. However, the bill came to £200, That's around £60 per head, which for lunch is just way too expensive. They need to offer some sort of reduced lunch menu options. We won't be eating here again for lunch.

Service was terribly slow as was food delivery which is NOT normal for here. We are frequent customers.

We usually go to sticks and sushi every couple of months. However this time we were very disappointed. The appetizers were quite nice and we were looking forward to the main course (sushi). However the sushi took so long to arrive approximately 45 mins and when it came it didn’t taste as fresh as it usually does. Also the sushi rolls were quite bigger that it tended to be and appeared to be stuffed with rice. The seaweed was very chewy and didnt’t taste very fresh. In general it appeared that the food was late across all the tables and some of the people next to us asked for their food to be wrapped in take away. Although the manager tried to offer free dessert and they took the drinks out of the charge to compensate for the situation, we were very disappointed given the high price point that the restaurant offers it didn’t feel like good value for money.

Lovely environment and decor. However, it was particularly pricey with preset varieties of sushi and sticks making it more difficult to try what you wished for. When busy, it was difficult to find a waitor. I had heard great reviews on the food and perhaps we were expecting much therefore we were not impressed.

Terrible experience here. If you book via this app they will treat you no better than a walk-in. No idea why they are even listed here. Don’t waste your time booking via OpenTable.
