Michelin-trained chef Edward Boarland along with business partner Dee Reid have launched a new concept restaurant, wine bar and florist at 12 Bow Lane in London, called Stem and Stem.

The concept of Stem + Stem champions British produce, both in the kitchen and the
florist, where possible sourcing as many local ingredients and products from South
East Farmers who advocate sustainability so they can bring the best product to the
table for their guests.

Guests should expect a dynamic menu at Stem + Stem, which changes more than
seasonally. Ed often seeks inspiration from everyday life transporting this straight to
the kitchen with new menu additions every few weeks.

Lunch with a difference. Quite expensive wines but good quality. Would I go again -most definitely, Joy a star.

Went for a relaxed business lunch for the 2nd Tuesday on the bounce. Superb again. Dreamy oysters and the shared seafood risotto for main was divine. Lovely wine list, a really nice restaurant. Love it.

I booked date night and chose Stem and Stem by looking at their menu on OpenTable and their website. Both were different. When I arrived, I was given a different menu from the other two. It had nothing I wanted to order on it. It was heavy in seafood. When you go to a place that only has 3 mains and a small selection of starters and the menu isn’t accurate and what’s offered skews to one profile of food, in this case seafood), it leaves a non-seafood lover no options for dinner. I left without eating.

Hi Mark - Thank you taking the time to leave us feedback. It’s upsetting that you weren’t able to find something you would enjoy on our menu as we feel our offering is balanced. We focus on the freshest, best quality and most seasonal ingredients and therefore our menu changes daily. Our online menus guide guests in the style of our plates and menu, and also pricing and while we try to keep them updated, it's not always possible. We have some incredible meat and vegetarian dishes available alongside our fish and seafood dishes. We have a vegetarian, fish and meat main available, and likewise with our small plates. One of the best restaurants I have been to in London. Nestled on a quiet back street opposite a church is this gem of a restaurant. From the moment you enter it is a feast for the sensors. Every little detail has been thought of, from the smell of the flowers, to the dimmed lights and fantastic staff. The food menu is small but perfectly formed. We had starters to share and then shared all three mains before having our own desserts. If you are looking for something a bit different this is the place to go the food is amazing. A vast wine list which is daunting but you have everything and anything on there you will not be disappointed. As for the price it is extremely reasonable three course with wine for £67 each I think is a steal for this restaurant. Thank you for a fantastic night.

Everything about Stem & Stem is gorgeous - the food, the decor, the flowers. Service is also incredible. Highly recommend.

Tremendous experience. This little gem is tucked out of the way which allows a relaxed dinner amidst one of the busiest cities in the world.

We loved every minute of our evening here. Such personal service, wonderful food and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be coming back, there is so much more on the menu we want to try.
