Michelin-trained chef Edward Boarland along with business partner Dee Reid have launched a new concept restaurant, wine bar and florist at 12 Bow Lane in London, called Stem and Stem.

The concept of Stem + Stem champions British produce, both in the kitchen and the
florist, where possible sourcing as many local ingredients and products from South
East Farmers who advocate sustainability so they can bring the best product to the
table for their guests.

Guests should expect a dynamic menu at Stem + Stem, which changes more than
seasonally. Ed often seeks inspiration from everyday life transporting this straight to
the kitchen with new menu additions every few weeks.

Excellent food, the large plate is a perfect size for lunch, and a great wine selection. The restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch and has a lovely, sociable ambience ideal for a business lunch or with friends.

Hi Love the place, love the staff the portion size was just so disaappointing and sadly my colleague and I will really not come back. A huge shame as we loved it, but came back to my office hungry. Small plates with 2 mushrooms if that! A shame The lovely waiter informed me that you had no non dairy mil at all and just didnt do it! To later return saying oh we have oat! Have to be honest as an amazing place but portions so tiny, flavours and menu STUNNING Thanks

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere and flavours, and we’re truly sorry to have missed the mark with your experience on this visit. Our Lobster Mushroom is served as a small plate, intended as a starter. For something more substantial, our larger plates would have been a better choice, and our team is always happy to guide you through the menu and what dishes are most filling etc. As a young, food & wine focused business, we’ve prioritised offering dairy alternatives throughout the menu, but we understand how important this is for some in their coffee too. This is such a lovely place to visit and the service is great. The moment you arrive and the greeting makes you feel at home. It is a great wine list with excellent wine, albeit above the average price, but the wine is definitely for enjoyment. I have now been a few times and it is great

Went for a relaxed business lunch for the 2nd Tuesday on the bounce. Superb again. Dreamy oysters and the shared seafood risotto for main was divine. Lovely wine list, a really nice restaurant. Love it.
