Located at 76 South Street, Stellina Ristorante is a fine Italian restaurant that hopes to be exactly what the name implies — the “little star” in the town of Oyster Bay.

Stellina Ristorante, with only a 40-person occupancy, will create an atmosphere of dining in a small restaurant in Italy — sometimes in the seaside of the Amalfi Coast, other times in the hills of Tuscany. Through seasonally-inspired, authentic Italian cooking, Stellina’s mission is to bring a small piece of Italy to Oyster Bay. The specially-crafted menu will include a variety of spuntini, pasta, pizzas, and more.

We had a very good experience. The service was perfect. The noise level was very high. The food was great, but the size of the individual plates was a little small lasagna was delicious but the portion could have been larger. Will return in spring when outdoor dining will be open

Stellina is not your typical crowded Long Island Italian eatery where people go to be seen. Instead, it's like a café in Italy. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is easy to talk to and incredibly accommodating, taking care of special requests without hesitation. The food is fantastic—from the salads and wood-fired oven pizzas to the homemade pastas, Zuppe di Pesce, and lasagna. Stellina is worth the drive to Oyster Bay and is a standout.

I don’t know even what to say about our experience at Stellina! From the moment we walked in we felt like we were transported to a small trattoria in Italy! The service, the atmosphere, and the food were just incredible. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for making us feel like we are part of the family.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a cozy yet chic ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we tried was a perfect, showcasing high-quality ingredients and masterful preparation. The pastas are amazing. Don’t even get me started on their signature dishes; I had the Veal Parmesan and my wife had the Strazzopretti Al Fume. Amazing! The service is impeccable, striking the ideal balance between attentive and unobtrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations, and ensured we were taken care of throughout the meal. Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or just a treat-yourself night, Stellina delivers on every front. The food was great, however the service was awful. We were celebrating my cousin’s birthday. We were rushed through our meal and then asked to leave!!! Honestly, I wouldn’t go back even though we loved the food. It ruined the experience for us. They claim to be Italian but a true Italian would never bring the check until the patron asks for it, nor would they grab your plate before your fork has a chance to hit it.

Solid Italian restaurant in oyster Bay that never disappoints. Food is well prepared and creative. Only negative is small portion sizes. A bit on the pricey side so only giving three stars for value, but we are repeat customers and will be back!
