Located at 76 South Street, Stellina Ristorante is a fine Italian restaurant that hopes to be exactly what the name implies — the “little star” in the town of Oyster Bay.

Stellina Ristorante, with only a 40-person occupancy, will create an atmosphere of dining in a small restaurant in Italy — sometimes in the seaside of the Amalfi Coast, other times in the hills of Tuscany. Through seasonally-inspired, authentic Italian cooking, Stellina’s mission is to bring a small piece of Italy to Oyster Bay. The specially-crafted menu will include a variety of spuntini, pasta, pizzas, and more.

Food was unbelievable and the service was great i would go back again in a heartbeat. The grilled octopus was fantastic and the lamb chops were perfectly cooked, 10000/10 recommend

Best Italian food ever. The homemade pasta is reminiscent of Italy. Highly recommend this place. Have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff and service is exemplary.

Food was delicious and well portioned. 2 Appetizers were big enough to share for a table of 4. We will be returning.

We had a reservation for two. They sat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant. It was ok, however, a large group that was too many people for the size of the table sat adjacent to us. We kept hitting each other and asked to move. We were ignored by the hostess. To make things worse, my wife’s homemade pasta came out undercooked. They removed it from the bill. I felt bad for the server. He was a good guy but the experience was awful. I would not recommend going here. We highly recommend Gioia instead.

Promptly seated when we arrived, then waited for 25 minutes with no one coming to our table. We even watched a table 3’ from ours being reset and still no one came to our table! My husband had to go over to one of waiters to put in our order to finally get someone to come to our table. When we finally did get a waiter, there was a half-hearted apology and we ordered drinks, apps, and our entrees. The drinks, which should have had Prosecco, tasted like they were made with club soda. Fried artichokes were good. Stuffed zucchini flowers had way too much breading. Gnocchi was overcooked and mushy. I had a glass of wine with dinner, but my husband had nothing because no one came back with the wine list he requested prior to ordering a second drink. Others dining seemed to be enjoying themselves, but being totally ignored really ruined our experience, which was supposed to be celebratory, for our wedding anniversary. We were excited to visit because the menu sounded great, but will never go back. Also, if a credit card is required hold the reservation, with a 48 hour cancellation policy, they best make sure EVERY diner is welcomed, acknowledged and served. (Though that is the standard at any restaurant regardless of their reservation policies.)

One of my favorite restaurants Brandon is the best server, really knows the menu and is passionate about giving you the best experience
