The restaurant was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu, a Boulder local. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. The space, an Art Deco inspiration, was conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo.

Stella's is showcasing a world-class menu, highlighting traditions from all over Italy, with house-made pastas with imported ingredients directly from Italy, and locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms. The menu is accompanied by an extensive selection of Italian wines and specialty cocktails.

Friday and Saturday, after dinner service, the space will transform into a lounge with a dance floor with a state-of-the-art sound system, while guests are encouraged to enjoy beverages, the dance floor, and a wide variety of music.

STELLA'S announces a one-of-its-kind wine dinner from Andrea Franchetti! With a beloved cult following, Franchetti's wines are rarely available for tasting menus in the United States. Join us as we discuss with Franchetti's winemaker, Lorenzo Foranini - an experience unlike any other - with 5-courses, beautifully paired by Chef Piersimone D'Anna. Doors open at 6:00pm Price includes tasting menu, wine pairings, and conversations with Lorenzo Foranini who worked side-by-side with Andrea Franchetti's for 10 years but does not include tax or gratuity. Due to the nature of our tasting menu, we are unable to accommodate vegetarian, dairy free, or severe allergies. Please contact the restaurant at least 72hrs in advance for dietary accommodations. Menu will be available on socials a few weeks before the event. Please note this is subject to change.

The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. I felt a bit rushed in the beginning as a few items arrived quickly about the same time, but then it all smoothed out and I was quite content with the entire dining experience. Everything was beyond delicious! Thanks you Stella's Cucina for a special dining experience.

This was my 3rd time eating at Stella’s. The first time it was amazing, second time less amazing but good. The 3rd time it was terrible. I usually love Stella salad, no dressing on either plate. When I asked for some it came in a thimble like cup and resembled mayonnaise, horrible. The treat offered by the chef( a mushroom bisque )was inedible. The risotto tasted like it has cheese whiz. The pasta poorly represented on the menu. My fish was good but the sides were unrecognizable. What was good? The special cocktail and bread. Ruined our celebration.

There were no dud entrees. There were five of us, and every entree was delicious. Salads were terrific and while we only had two deserts, they were both exceptional.

The atmosphere and food were impeccable. The DJ was great and really added to the experience. Stella's is perfect for a special occasion. I got the most giant portion of truffles on my pasta that I have ever experienced. Very disappointed in the service. Not sure if it was because my partner and I look young (we are in our early thirties and it shouldn't matter regardless), but for the price and the experience that Stella's seems to be going for our waiter definitely didn't meet expectations. We didn't get the feeling of being taken care of like you do when you are spending $100+ per person for dinner. We had a few clarifying questions about the menu and our waiter seemed almost annoyed that we would ask. He gave off a quite egotistical vibe and it really detracted from the birthday celebration we were having. I would definitely go back but I really hope I don't have that waiter again.
