The restaurant was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu, a Boulder local. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. The space, an Art Deco inspiration, was conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo.

Stella's is showcasing a world-class menu, highlighting traditions from all over Italy, with house-made pastas with imported ingredients directly from Italy, and locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms. The menu is accompanied by an extensive selection of Italian wines and specialty cocktails.

Friday and Saturday, after dinner service, the space will transform into a lounge with a dance floor with a state-of-the-art sound system, while guests are encouraged to enjoy beverages, the dance floor, and a wide variety of music.

STELLA'S announces our Toscana wine dinner featuring a 5-course tasting menu beautifully paired with wines from Tuscan producer Benedetto Baracchi! We are delighted to continue our journey through Italy's regions and excited to invite you to experience a wonderful evening with us! Doors open at 6:00pm Price includes tasting menu, wine pairings, and conversations with Benedetto Baracchi, owner of Baracchi winery and Stella's Wine Director Alex Davison but does not include tax or gratuity. Due to the nature of our tasting menu, we are unable to accommodate vegan, dairy free, or severe allergies. Please contact the restaurant at least 72hrs in advance for dietary accommodations.

Stella’s is a lovely dining experience . Hostess greeted us with a warm welcome. Wait staff was very attentive.Food is divine.Menu seems to change often ,that’s ok but..it’s also nice to have a favorite on repeat . The carpaccio appetizer was full of pleasant flavors. Love a good beet salad , Stella did not disappoint. All our entrees were yummy,one of my dining companions loved the venison dish ! The pistachio crème brûlée was excitingly tasty . This dinner for the four of us did not disappoint!

We enjoyed our dinners at Stella’s: fine food and service. Only caveat, and a major one. We were given the bill and our credit cards were taken and charged. When we received our receipts, 5 cocktails were added to our account, that were not ours. This left a very sour taste for the four of us. Seemed pretty seedy.

Service: sufficient employees walking around to clear plates/dishes once the customer was through eating but that did not happen, employees would walk pass, look down at the table, see the empty dishes & walk by, we sat too long with empty plates. It's like each had one specific task (filling water glasses, bringing drinks, bringing the particular course) but could not take away an empty plate immediately. Service was poor, the employees did not work as a TEAM! Food: adequate for the portions. Appetizer was too small for price, salads were good, entrees sufficient. Woman sitting @ bar, which is very close to tables, talking on the phone loudly and employees/management did not do anything about it, annoying and inappropriate for again the ambience of this restaurant. Would not return, not worth the hype, would not recommend.

This place is one of a kinda, while it is on the more expensive side the waiter and and the restaurant ambiance makes up for it

The food here is amazing and expertly prepared. We were "wowed!" Superb , attentive service and the ambiance was upbeat and relaxing. We will definitely be back. What a treasure.
