Stella represents an expression of artistry across the mediums of cuisine, art, and design. Italian for ‘star’, Stella is inspired by the traditions of the traveling hearth of the coastal and pastoral communities of Southern, Central, and Northern Italy, enriched with local, seasonal California ingredients.

A creative collaboration between restaurateur, Janet Zuccarini, and Executive Chef Rob Gentile, Stella brings modern twists on age-old Italian culinary traditions to West Hollywood.

Inspired by 1950s Italy and created by award-winning designer Wendy Haworth, the restaurant features bold architectural details, rich woods, and vintage-inspired furniture. The multi-level restaurant is complete with private dining rooms and an intimate terrace.

With an emphasis on unique dining experiences at every turn, Stella offers a refreshing take on time-honored Italian recipes, where the quality of ingredients takes center stage.

La restauratrice Janet Zuccarini et l'ancien chef torontois Rob Gentile ont conjugué leurs talents pour créer Stella, un superbe restaurant dont le décor s'inspire de l'Italie du milieu du siècle dernier. Le menu met à l'honneur le faste italien, qu'il s'agisse de crudos joliment présentés, de délicieuses pâtes artisanales, de pizzas romaines garnies de truffes ou de viandes cuites au feu de bois. La carte propose également des saveurs luxueuses, comme le beurre d'oursin et le caviar de truite fumée.

Great food but unprofessional service for the price. Room is cramped and cheap looking. There are way better fine dining options in town.

Very confusing menu , but that aside , food overall was ok, pizza was great. Service was good but server was really pushing a lot of food…. No one could have eaten all of it so we ended up taking some home. This is not an inexpensive restaurant…. Actually very expensive. We asked for some balsamic vinegar and we were told that they charge for oil and vinegar. I have NEVER been to an Italian restaurant that EVER charged for oil and vinegar. Most leave the bottle on the table …. I was surprised and quite frankly insulted that a restaurant of this price point would need to charge for staples of this kind. Will we go back, probably not. Everyone was very nice and service was good and pizza was very good. Too many other excellent Italian restaurants that will get our business and not take advantage of it.

I thought the experience at Stella was quite exceptional. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all wonderful. I partiuclarly enjoyed the service. Our server, whose name I can't remember, was exceptional. She was attentive and careful. She was pleasant and helpful. She connected with my wife and I regarding our families and our animals. It really was a great time. I highly recommend Stella for your evening.

Terrible experience. They forgot an entree, then took another 20 minutes to bring it out. Ordered a well done steak. Brough out a medium rare one and said chef prefers it medium rare. That’s nice. It’s not for him. After all this, we were asked to leave, mid dinner as there were other parties waiting for our table…. Absolute joke

This was the first time my Husband and I have been to Stella. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent and the food is amazing! We’ll definitely be going back.
