Stella represents an expression of artistry across the mediums of cuisine, art, and design. Italian for ‘star’, Stella is inspired by the traditions of the traveling hearth of the coastal and pastoral communities of Southern, Central, and Northern Italy, enriched with local, seasonal California ingredients.

A creative collaboration between restaurateur, Janet Zuccarini, and Executive Chef Rob Gentile, Stella brings modern twists on age-old Italian culinary traditions to West Hollywood.

Inspired by 1950s Italy and created by award-winning designer Wendy Haworth, the restaurant features bold architectural details, rich woods, and vintage-inspired furniture. The multi-level restaurant is complete with private dining rooms and an intimate terrace.

With an emphasis on unique dining experiences at every turn, Stella offers a refreshing take on time-honored Italian recipes, where the quality of ingredients takes center stage.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : La restauratrice Janet Zuccarini et l'ancien chef torontois Rob Gentile ont conjugué leurs talents pour créer Stella, un superbe restaurant dont le décor s'inspire de l'Italie du milieu du siècle dernier. Excellent menu options, love the child menu and coloring page with crayons. Wine selection is superb as well. Would be back for more.

Thought it would be such a better experience. We waited almost 45 min to be seated. Then we were seated like packed sardines in a room which felt like a cafeteria. We could literally hear everyones conversation next to us which was annoying. Bar tenders were great and martinis were nice but food was awful and expensive for not high quality prices. Definitely not a recommended spot. Going back to Madeos. They know how to make food and how to give proper service. Salmon carpaccio was so salty and fishy. The salad had no taste. Squash blossoms came cold. Pasta tasted like it was from a box and pizza was nothing special. Very disappointed and waist of money.

This meal was amazing. The service was excellent. And the ambience was nice too. Overall, it was one of the best dinners I’ve had.

Special shoutout to our server Cindy. She was so dialed in and helped us find the best Amaro and wine to pair with our meal. The pork is always my go to because there is truly no other pork like it! Everything was phenomenal

The food was good, but the waitress misinformed us in sharing a meal that was not enough to share. I think, it’s the best to let guests make decisions for themselves. The ref wine by glass selection was awful. I tasted four, they were all bad. Next time, I will take my own wine to your restaurant. Overall, we liked it, and we’ll definitely revisit.

Absolutely lovely place to celebrate my birthday! Beautiful space and epic service. Food was extremely unique and flavorful. 2 of my favorite things were cutting the pizza with scissors and all of the vintage glassware used to serve the desserts. Overall an 11 out of 10.
