At Stella Steakhouse, we are proud to source our steaks from artisan butcher John Stone, located in Ballymahon, County Longford. With over 50 years of experience, John Stone is known as a purveyor of the finest quality dry aged beef. His commitment to quality and unmatched expertise means that we can guarantee the freshest and most tender steaks for our customers. Watch out for our daily chalkboard specials, which will highlight a selection of cuts from abroad.

                                                                          Fabulous restaurant! The host & waiter were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Food is absolutely second to none, cocktails were beautiful and my guest had some wine who complimented it ! Great evening.

                                                                          From the second we walked in the staff was so friendly! Service was amazing. Myself and my friend were made feel very welcomed and comfortable they even gave my friend free desert for her birthday. Food was beautiful. I cannot wait to go back again!

                                                                          Overall it was quite poor. It started with the chef arguing with the manager on the temperature a medium rare steak should be cooked and ended up with us being served two steaks that were very over cooked. I can’t compliment the waiting staff enough, they asked us if we wanted a replacement and didn’t charge us, however there were other issues. My wife was drinking margaritas and unfortunately witnessed the barman remove the pourer of the tequila bottle with his mouth. Needless to say she didn’t finish the second drink and ordered something else. Will we be back? No They need to do better in all aspects

                                                                          Food and service was superb. We ordered the Chateaubriand, 550g, which was cooked to perfection and was plenty for us to eat. The chef came to our table to check the temperature we wanted it cooked and was very accommodating. The staff were so friendly and very professional at the same time. Will definitely be back.

                                                                          The service was excellent and the setup was great for a table of 4. I could not find any fault with either. However, of the 3 steaks that were ordered (two requested medium and one medium well) two came out over cooked. That for me is a deal breaker given the fact that each cost over 40 euros . At that cost, you better get things right. On the other hand, the desserts and starters were tasty and very tasty. Finally, there was a 12.5% charge on the meal.....while I am 100% in favor of tipping on a meal (I do it every single time, but a service charge on a meal is sneaky in my book). Finally, the question I asked myself as I left, would I want to go back and sadly, for me, the answer was NO. "Once bitten, twice shy"

                                                                          Thank you for a wonderful lunch yesterday, we took my mother-in-law to lunch for her 85th birthday and then to a show at the Stella. We told the host it was her birthday when we booked and they were so attentive and wonderful, making the day very special for her, she was amazed at the lovely decorative detail on her cheese cake with the candle and Happy Birthday message. Thank you so much.
