STELLA is such a warm and elegant restaurant. Perfect escape on a dreary and cold Seattle night. The menu is fantastic and there is always something new to try, and the cocktails are fun and creative.

Loved the food and the presentation, Would have enjoyed more goat cheese with my beet salad. Having 1 Tablespoon of goat cheese left me wanting more. Bolognese was incredible Having the option for adding parm would have been great! Tomato soup was a star! Coffee was also great (from a coffee snob). Wished I would've asked for a to go cup on this cold winter day.

The food and service was excellent. the Calamari was the best I' ve ever had. A great place to enjoy fine food.

Shell fish and fish were excellent. My personal menu option was not a good choice. Perhaps it was my mistake. I err on the side of vegetarian and ended up with lentils and sausage. My wife is lactose intolerant, and accommodations were easy for the chef. Cocktails were very good. The 1920's look and feel in the Fireside room was classic. It's a nice place to be comfortable and not feel rushed. We opted out of dining in the dining room because the Fireside location is better. The dining room could use some remodeling, at least on the floor. The dining room is not bad, but just not as good as the Fireside room or bar area. It's a very nice experience to visit a hotel with an interesting historical vibe.

Entrees and antipasto quite good. Chef’s style clearly runs towards the quieter end of the flavor spectrum. Well balanced and subtle, good portions, excellent presentation. Service was very good. The fireplace room is charming, though a table of eight was sat directly in front of the fireplace, preventing the rest of the room from enjoying it.

We dined here for the Christmas brunch experience and though there were high points, my party and I were not that impressed. The pastry options for the first course were a platter of cut bagels and mini muffins, some better than others. The second course of a Caesar salad and frittata with bell pepper, spinach, and mushrooms was probably the best part of the meal. Flavors were good and though we had to wait a little longer for the frittata, it was worth it once it came to the table. The entrees consisted of a prime rib and a seafood lasagna. The prime rib came slightly warmer than room temperature yet the potatoes that accompanied it were hot as if brand new. The seafood lasagna was just cold and no one in my party felt comfortable eating more than a few bites. The dessert option was decent, so the meal ended on a decent point. The server was nice, and the drinks were very good!

The pre-fixe menu for Christmas brunch was terrible. The pastries came out cold and some were stale. The “prime rib” was super thin, came out cold and super well done. Most of the dishes seemed like it was heated from the microwave. The best dish they had on this menu was the Caesar salad

Waiter and manager arguing, long pauses between courses, paid a lot for stale pastries, a frittata made the day before, a sad piece of prime rib with some scattered potatoes, and a store-bought panettone. Would not go to Christmas brunch again. Not worth $60

We have been to Stella’s before for their holiday offerings and have not been disappointed. We decided to try their Christmas Eve dinner and we were served 4 courses of very delicious food. The prime rib dinner was particularly outstanding. What was different this time around was the service, however. They seemed to be short staffed and it took some time after we sat time for us to be acknowledged. After we received our food, no one bothered checking in with us to see whether it was to our liking. We ordered wine and it finally arrived after our dessert! My wife and I have eaten at Stella’s many times. We have always enjoyed the food and the service as being outstanding! I will just chalk this up to being a one off.
