This is my Favorite Italian Restaurant in Middletown. There are several good/very good Italian restaurants in Middletown, and i find Stella D'oro to be the best based on quality of food, tasteful preparation, extensive menu items, excellent and consistent service (cannot remember the name of the gentleman who was our waiter, but he and the asts did a wonderful job, very attentive), and ambience. Appetizers, salad, bread, wine line, main courses (we had chicken and seafood) all were delicious. Did not have dessert. Well done Stella!

Loved everything about this place: outstanding food --daily specials were wonderful (bacon wrapped scallops) as was the lobster ravioli-- excellent and attentive service, and great space. Considering the very high quality of food, the prices represented great value. This was our first time at Stella D'oro and we are definitely coming back to try the other menu items which looked incredible.

We recently dined here and had a wonderful experience in every way. The food was delicious! The Mediterranean Salad is a great starter and we both followed with a swordfish special that was mouth watering. A lemon cello cake was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Our server was delightful and the manager made sure that every table was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be heading back soon.

Food was excellent. We were sat at a high top table in the bar which initially I was sad about because I wanted a booth, but then realized just how noisy that area was and was grateful to have been sat in the quieter bar area. Service was great. Food was excellent. Beautiful ambience. Would definitely go there again.
