Great environment if you are looking for something more lively. If you want a quiet romantic experience, this is not it. The ribeye was good, but there is much better in the Tampa Bay area. Brussels and mac n cheese were good. Customer service was above average. Overall, it was a good experience. I probably wouldn’t drive an hour again just for Steelbach, but would consider stopping in again if I happened to be in the area.

The kitchen wasn’t prepared for the night and ran out of a few items. The tomahawk steak we ordered was not cooked to correct temperature. We received our sides before the stake a good 15 minutes early. The broccoli had a nice smoky flavor but the sauce on top did not go well. The pasta on the mac & cheese was not cooked correctly or did not taste well at all. It was chewy. The drinks were good but we have had better for sure. The restaurant is located in a great spot in ambience was 10 out of 10 this was not our first time here we will not be going back again though for the price the food is definitely mediocre.

Great server! The steak was awesome! Brussels sprouts were good as well! It wasn’t good enough to dine again but I enjoyed the time I did have here. Cornbread was not to my liking but for those who enjoy corn and bacon in there cornbread, have at it! Drinks were bomb af!

This was our first time ever to Steelbach. We went for a Valentine’s Day lunch. We did see another table get treated with better for their Vday lunch. But the service was okay/good. The food was spectacular. I definitely want to go back and try some other meals.

Based on pricing I was expecting a fine dining experience. Service was a remarkably lower level. I started by asking my server about the oysters and their size. She said they were large so I ordered. They were literally the smallest oysters I had ever seen and at over $5 each I was not happy. Before I had one she intimated that I could eat them and they would still be removed from my bill, so I did... and was billed. I ordered the ribeye mr with a bordelaise . I found it illogical that it arrived ahead of my sides AND WINE with steak on a cold plate with butter and the sauce on the side and 2 "tasting salts" that made it impossible for me to add my sides to the plate to enjoy my meal with all components within reach. The butter and sauce should've been on the steak and the salt should've been on the side. That would've made sense but it spoke to a presentation that was more pretension than pragmatic. Their brown butter mushrooms were without fault and delicious. The Marrowbone potatoes, however, were overly thick and heavy and presented on a half cut marrow bone making it impossible not to have to pick it up with my hands in order to serve myself. Again, I felt the presentation interfered with pragmatic delivery. Finally when offered a dessert menu I was disappointed to see that it did not reflect what the website showed. Every dessert item was heavy chocolate except for one rich ice cream with toppings. Not wanting chocolate after steak, I was hoping for the lemoncello tiramisu shown on the site menu, so I skipped dessert.Throughout service was slow and not at all in keeping with the fine dining standard of engaging the guest and overall attentiveness. Inside dining was very loud and cramped and I would've left had I not been able to sit outside where it was less noisy. I spent over $200 on my solo meal, and would not return based on this experience. 3 stars because the mushrooms were good and the steak was cooked MR.
