Conveniently located on the scenic Grandview Ave (across the street from the Duquesne incline) in Mt. Washington. We focus on food that has incredible flavors with a menu most everyone can enjoy and appreciate. Whether it be our second to none fish or our juicy burgers. We are also known for having several options for everyone, this includes Vegan and Vegetarian diets as well. Our Happy Hour is the most aggressive in Pittsburgh along with second to none bar drinks and atmosphere.

The best thing about this restaurant is its location, right across the street from the Duquesne Incline and its amazing view of the Pittsburgh skyline. The food itself was adequate at best. The pizza was bland and the au jus sauce for the French Dip was extremely salty.

The menu was quite impressive, unfortunately the food was just ehh. Three of us were served first with at best, warm food. The other three got their food about 8-10 min later. Brunch wasn't quite what we were hoping for. We did get the Avacodo Brushetta and the Rueben Pierogies first of which both were awesome.

Mother's Day, Great meal and appetizers. Noise level was raucous at times. Sarah our server was very good but she also had a lot of tables to manage. Food was superb, great appetizers. Nothing too simple or plain, some vegetarian offerings. Drinks were great, we did not have alcohol. Second floor, hi-top seating. They gave a carnation to each mom, sweet touch. We had asked for window but those had already been taken in advance. We were a row over and could see quite a bit of Pittsburgh. We were across from the Duquesne Incline. Parking is available for cost but we actually found a space on the street. Res. was for 1PM and we were taken in right away. Clean restrooms. The main complaint? The NOISE.

Went for brunch on Mother's Day. The first thing I noticed was the noise level. The music volume was higher than it really needed to be, and this is outside of the restaurants control but the people sitting CLOSE to us were so loud we could've been part of their conversation. The food, we got the loaded fries with pulled pork as an appetizer, some places had more salt that others, it was very inconsistent. The Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast, the bread itself was bland and just soggy, the accompanying sauces were edible at best, the eggs, unsure what box they came out of, were flavorless and crumbly, couldn't even be bothered to use really eggs, somehow they managed to even make my sister's bacon flavorless, and her potatoes were burned. The meal was edible but nowhere near the prices charged. Wouldn't recommend this place which seems like a bar trying to be a restaurant.

First time visiting Steel Mill Saloon, the food and location were great. Service was fast and friendly. Also convenient that there is a parking lot nearby.

We had reservations for a Saturday evening. It was a nice evening so when we arrived we asked to sit outside because the noise level inside did not allow for normal conversation. That aside, we had a good meal although the service was a bit slow. We weren’t in any hurry so that wasn’t a problem. Overall though, it was a good experience and we will return.

Recently dined on a Sunday afternoon. There is no wine list and only one brand of wine carried. That being the case, tried to sample a chardonnay and was told samples are not offered. So, we ordered a glass, didn't care for the wine at all and sent it back. At this point, the manager stopped by and let us know samples are offered, not sure why the missed communication. Ordered lettuce wrap appetizer which was ok. Then ordered burgers and fries which were very good. Parking in the lot next door is $12.
