At Millpond Gatherings, we are an all encompassing hospitality center where you can eat, celebrate, shop, and stay with us here in the quaint town of Northford, Connecticut. The Millpond Steakhouse, run by Executive Chef Pedro Avila, is a farm-to-table modern American steakhouse with a fine dining flare. Our dry-aged grass fed beef is sourced from our own cattle farm just 2 miles up the road, and accompanied with local produce from our surrounding farmers. Downstairs in the Tavern we encompass the spirit of historic New England with a cozy laid back atmosphere and weekly live music on Thursdays and Sundays.

Millpond Events is our venue hall located adjacent to the restaurant. This rustic charming space will harvest many special memories and celebrations.

First time having brunch at Mill Pond. We all enjoyed the beautiful setting and our drinks and meal were delicious.

Prices high. Food fair. Not a good combination. Grounds and building are beautiful. Service was great. 5-6 pm on a beautiful Friday evening and only 6 customers should say something. It was our anniversary dinner. Won’t be remembered.

Millpond Gathering Steakhouse is a beautiful restaurant and a perfect setting for a special occasion. The open floor design and grand fireplace in the center of the room makes for a very New England farmhouse look. We have been here several times and have had a lovely experience each time. For more casual dining they offer a Tavern on their first floor, which still provides a great menu.

The food was delicious! But I would love to know what was in the sauce of the salmon dish that made my body react with stomach cramps and having the food go right thru me in less than an hour.

The food, the people, the noise level, the views- everything about this entire venue is unbelievable. Very strongly suggest you take a drive to Millpond Gatherings and enjoy !

Have been to Mill Pond several times. Could not ask for better service, food and ambiance. Highly recommend this establishment.

The food was not as good as expected for the price. Over $250 for 3 people including one child. The crab was way too salty. The filet was mediocre. Friendly service and the building is gorgeous, but overall, not worth the price.
