I have previously been to Steak Ministry four times, including a previous Valentine’s, and it had previously been an excellent experience, definitely had been one of the better steak houses around. But this most recent Valentine’s was a disappointment. I went to Steak Ministry Glen Waverley for the Valentine’s dinner, which was $125pp, and the restaurant was extremely packed; you literally couldn’t move without bumping into another couple. Service was very slow, and we weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks, and our water was never refilled. It was impossible to flag wait staff for any reason. One of the worst dining experiences I have had, let alone at $300 including drinks.

4th time visiting always enjoy food. Service was slow due to volume of clients. The waitress forgot my wife's drink I asked the barman directly who served our drink. The main server was not happy with this and halfway through our drink came to our table and placed our bill on the table and walked away. We both thought this was rude as we had not asked for the bill. After challenging him he apologised. This however left a bad taste in our mouths and spoilt the end of our evening. Not sure if we'll return now.

The steaks were quite average for the high price you pay. To also have to pay an additional $5 for the sauce was also odd as most high end restaurants that charge the same amount and have better quality steaks include the sauce without extra charge. The steaks also came out surprisingly fast, their website says can take up to 30 minutes because of their unique cooking process. The steak was quite chewy too. There is a bit of a disconnect between what they are selling and what you are served. If you’re for a “steak house” this isn’t the place for you.

Unfortunately not comparable with other steakhouses such as Meat & Wine Co. even though prices are similar if not more higher

Have been going to the ministry for years and as always another great night and feed had by all. Some nice sharing options which makes it easy for a whole table. Staff were attentive. Ambiance was great.

Excellent food - wine list is extensive and expensive. Service felt a little rushed between courses.

The service was flawless . The menue is easy to follow and something for everyone . We enjoyed all dishes . Very generous serves . The scallops and oysters are to die for and the wagu scotch fillet was melt in your mouth . Well done steak ministry for getting it so right . Ohhhhhh and you have to have desert. Wow

Fantastic experience dining here for my partners birthday! All of ther servers were lovely and accommodating. The food is terrific and so filling, absolutely delicious. Definitely want to come back again to try more.
